Kmcalpin
The club has announced that the squad will once again travel to the Delden training centre in the Netherlands for a training camp. They will play 2 games, one of which will be against FC Twente. 25 June - 2 July. From that, I assume that pre season training will start sometime w/c 16 June. So, hopefully our new man, or woman, should be in place roughly a week beforehand, if not before that.

Hopefully earlier so that they can get in and start identifying new targets asap. You would have thought that with the Wimmer situation being well known then contingencies were being put in place. June 16 is only 3 weeks away though, so maybe not.

Yes. Presumably the club knew he was unsettled some weeks ago and would have begun preparations. If not then, when he told the club he wasn't returning. The exact timescale is unclear from the official announcement.
Toxteth O'Grady
https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2025/05/30/hertha-berlin-friendly-confirmed/ Friendly v Hertha Berlin at Fir Park on Fri July 25th. Presumably arranged before Mr Wimmer departed.
fizoxy
Is that the club that the chairman is linked to through his father in law?
Kmcalpin
A real coup to attract Hertha Berlin. They'll bring a decent crowd with them.
mio
That Bundesliga 2 was crazy this year, 6 or 7 massive clubs in that league. I’m not sure Hertha had a good season but it should be a tough game and a good game to have before the season starts.

Kmcalpin
A bit disappointing that both home games in the League Cup are midweek. Morton game is being televised.

I assume that when the turnstile operator scans your card they'll allow both you and your companion to enter.

Holidays? or maybe I am not phrasing the question properly. Thought a poster on here might have experience of how it is handled. If all else fail I will visit ticket office at Peterhead game. When I did turnstiles at Motherwell it was before the new ones were put in but the operator pressed a pedal to let someone through the gate - wouldn't imagine that there would be any issue. Think they still do. The card scan is just validation thats tells them to put their foot on the pedal. Certainly doesnt look like they have upgraded anything - in the east stand at least
