I remember a cup game we drew at Ochilview (0 - 0 I think) and went on to score 6 in the replay.

Another plastic pitch, but I expect more improvement and a win.

Would love to see a new central defender signed before then.

McCowan's Highland Toffee anyone?

Sadly McCowan's is long gone. Site now has a Tim Hortons and B&M store. As close to a Motherwell home game as I''ll ever get.

Those travelling by train, the bar at the Station Hotel in Larbert is decent and they have a beer garden. There is a tiny wee bar in the main stand at the ground, but it really is tiny! Closest pub is the Talk of the Toon, a four minute walk away.ย ย

What is parking like in the vicinity of the ground? On street?

There's on-street parking near the ground.ย  Also a large Asda supermarket five minutes walk away, but there might be time restrictions or an online / phone payment option. If I'm down that way before Friday, I'll check and post. On the Station Hotel side of Larbert station (about 20 min walk) there is a huge free car park.ย

Thanks for this. Appreciated.

I see this on their website too, which reads like an old joke, but also useful advice.

Remember also to ignore the โ€˜football trafficโ€™ signs around the area, as if you follow them you will eventually end up at The Falkirk Stadium.

Another tricky one on another artificial surface and I have no doubt another struggle.

2-1 home win.

According to your predictions you have said we would have 1/2 points (depending on penalties v peterhead) after 3 games.
Let's see how well your doing after Saturday.

Stenny only had three subs last night -2 trialists and a goalie. ย They may have some more signings for Saturday but it must be a game for our strikers to get their accounts up and running.ย

Heading up for this one to tick another ground off the list. Hoping for a little light rain to make the pitch a little slicker and more agreeable!

I expect it to be another tough game but us to have learned and improved a little off the back of the past week.

2-0 to us. A goal in each half with Sule and Stama both getting off the mark.

I expect a game similar to the last 2. Stenhousemuir will hopefully look at us and think we're at home we be can beat this lot and have a real go at us...then I woke up.ย  ย

All Stenny have to do is be patient and weโ€™ll gift them the inevitable goal or two. I still think weโ€™ll come away with the win, though.ย

Ok Motherwell, as patient as I am ๐Ÿคฃ Nothing more than a good win is acceptable. We are playing a mid table league 1 team.ย

weve had a few games, weโ€™ve seen a steady improvement, JBA should know what is working and what players have something about them. We โ€œshouldโ€ be miles ahead of stenny in fitness and ability, (and player numbers by all account) forget the plastic park, ability really should be the determining factor here.

3-0

It's going to a be a few weeks until we see theย  fruits on the new managers labours getting them to play a certain way but hang in tight cause when it all starts to pay off it's going to be wonderful and magical.

This is the signage at Asda Stenhousemuir car park. I was trying to find the rules about the time allowed if shopping, but couldn't see anything other than the car park is for shoppers. Given the likely amount of shoppers on a Saturday, there aren't likely to be loads of spaces, but there will be some. As I mentioned earlier, it's only a 5 minute walk to the ground.ย

Thanks. Looking at the web site quoting Larbert, 4 hours parking at Asda on Saturday (2pm to 6pm) costs ยฃ2
