Stenhousemuir v Motherwell 19/07/2025 🏆

Sadly McCowan's is long gone. Site now has a Tim Hortons and B&M store. As close to a Motherwell home game as I''ll ever get.

Those travelling by train, the bar at the Station Hotel in Larbert is decent and they have a beer garden. There is a tiny wee bar in the main stand at the ground, but it really is tiny! Closest pub is the Talk of the Toon, a four minute walk away.

There's on-street parking near the ground.  Also a large Asda supermarket five minutes walk away, but there might be time restrictions or an online / phone payment option. If I'm down that way before Friday, I'll check and post. On the Station Hotel side of Larbert station (about 20 min walk) there is a huge free car park.

Thanks for this. Appreciated.

Heading up for this one to tick another ground off the list. Hoping for a little light rain to make the pitch a little slicker and more agreeable!

I expect it to be another tough game but us to have learned and improved a little off the back of the past week.

2-0 to us. A goal in each half with Sule and Stama both getting off the mark.

I expect a game similar to the last 2. Stenhousemuir will hopefully look at us and think we're at home we be can beat this lot and have a real go at us...then I woke up.

All Stenny have to do is be patient and we’ll gift them the inevitable goal or two. I still think we’ll come away with the win, though.

Ok Motherwell, as patient as I am 🤣 Nothing more than a good win is acceptable. We are playing a mid table league 1 team.

weve had a few games, we’ve seen a steady improvement, JBA should know what is working and what players have something about them. We “should” be miles ahead of stenny in fitness and ability, (and player numbers by all account) forget the plastic park, ability really should be the determining factor here.

3-0

This is the signage at Asda Stenhousemuir car park. I was trying to find the rules about the time allowed if shopping, but couldn't see anything other than the car park is for shoppers. Given the likely amount of shoppers on a Saturday, there aren't likely to be loads of spaces, but there will be some. As I mentioned earlier, it's only a 5 minute walk to the ground.

Thanks. Looking at the web site quoting Larbert, 4 hours parking at Asda on Saturday (2pm to 6pm) costs £2
