Weather was terrible.

Wet plastic pitch was terrible.

Referee was terrible.

A few players were terrible.

But still delighted the football's back for the season.

I voted for the keeper.

I know he has had little to do in the past 2 games, but other than the poor pass against Peterhead (which he redeemed with a good save), he has looked confident and 100% on board with the new strategy.

Playing regularly on loan certainly doesn't hurt in that position compared to sitting on the bench for 2 years.

Being an academy product might add to my bias.

Good shout. What he had to do, he did well. Fads again showing promise and gets my vote.

None of the outfield players really stood out, so Matty gets my vote for his confidence and distribution. Not that he had much else to do. He’s certainly not the tallest keeper out there, but it’s clear he’s a baller with a footballing brain that JBA will appreciate.

Thought Balmer actually had a very good game.

Strolled it for the most part and scored the winner, albeit.it hit off him more than anything.

Thought Fadinger had another decent game but got hooked fairly early....
