Connellys height and presence is the issue for me, regardless of being able to pass the ball about in his 6yrd box, a commanding keeper is necessary in a good side. We moaned relentlessly about Kelly being too small and Kelly is a couple of inches taller and wider than Connelly. All sort of just half chances. Longer it’s gone on we are starting to look a bit tired and as much as Morton are clearly the poorer side, they look more like scoring. Their big striker missed a sitter and that looked like a definite penalty. really interesting to see how we come out in the 2nd half.
