claretband
Unfortunately due to NLC licensing restrictions which were placed on us as condition on application for the original beer garden something I personally hope over time will ease in the future Yes but what reason did they give?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stuwell2
I think the restrictions are on all OF games so I’d think it’s going to be due to increased pressure on the police at these games.
weeyin
From NLC's Licensing Policy Statement Quote SECTION B - LICENSING OBJECTIVES 21 Overview 21.1 The following sections set out the board’s policy relating specifically to the five licensing objectives: • preventing crime and disorder • securing public safety • preventing public nuisance • protecting and improving public health • protecting children and young persons from harm Any combination of the first 3 would be justification, but I'd be surprised if they gave a specific reason like "we don't want a stadium full of drunk OF fans"

Toxteth O'Grady
I don't know the full reasons why the club couldn't get a licence to open the bar today, but regardless, surely that was a missed opportunity to make some significant revenue from the new venture. As mentioned previously, there might not be many games during the season when the weather is suitable for a (mostly) outdoor setting, however this afternoon we had glorious sunshine, a big home support, and a later than normal kick off time. A few mates and I had planned to get there early and have a bite to eat before the game, however when we discovered it was closed then Club 100 got our business instead. weeyin
If the council doesn't grant a license, there's not much we could have done.

The chat I heard at the game was that we didn't actually apply for a license for today's match. Could be total nonsense of course.
