Absolutely dominating the ball so far but same old story can’t make it count in the final third.

Story of the season so far. Our build up's far too slow. Allowing the opposition to get players behind the ball.

Add to that the naivety of our defence and needless penalties. Recipe for disaster.

I suppose the difference here is that we are now having to chase a game rather than defend a lead. The only two times we’ve been in that scenario this season were against Rangers on opening day and Celtic earlier this month, and on both occasions we managed to get back in the game.

edit: Sorry it was three times we’ve been 0-1 down, as Killie scored first against us and we managed to get back in that one too

modern football seems to have switched to ball possession teams are worthless, compared to teams that do nowt but launch and play in their opponents box.

One of the weird things I've noticed is teams tend to create roughly the same number of chances regardless of actual possession varying by large degrees.

I'm not sure how you actually explain that but it's there to see.

Just heard Craigan's comments on BBC Scotland about Jens trying to change 140 years of history

Quite disappointed with that one , I will be disappointed if course if we lose this but still plenty time

which as you agree is complete bollox. scottish football will never improve with those attitudes. This win at all costs, has not worked.

Could be bottom by end of weekend. We're too one dimensional. Needs alternate approach for these type of games. Don't matter how much possession you have if your largely ineffective up front and weak in defence. We are where we deserve to be.

Correct and that’s why all that talk of JBA being the best manager we’ve had in years and “how long will we be able to hang on to him” a month or so ago was utter madness because the main thing that he’s shown so far is that he is unable to win football matches. We have ONE league win to our name from eight matches and only got that due to Aberdeen’s goalkeeper producing a howler in stoppage time.

The harsh reality is that TJ, Watt, Just and Longelo apart we are toothless and ineffective and the manager has so far shown that he has no idea how to turn that around. Now, he might well today, we all desperately hope he does but the stats don’t look favourable for him so far and they are getting worse with each passing week and each failure to put three points on the board in this league.

I've generally thought Askou's been good when talking to the media but after the result last week I thought he was full of excuses and I've not heard these 140 years quote if he's said that it suggests to me that he's feeling the pressure cos that's just a daft thing to say.
