Should really have been more comfortable than it was at the end. Connelly made a decent save and another couple of little shaky moments.

still a win is a win and we are through to the next round which is brilliant.

Job down. Hard to play against a team with no real intent to attack.

I feel for county watching their team play like that every game.

For us we were comfortable and played within ourselves. When we upped pace we scored and then reverted to control football again.

Straightforward win with no drama, and we got to give some fringe guys minutes. Job done and in the hat.

On a sour note I’m hearing rumours of a ‘Well fan kicking a Greggs sausage roll right of of a pal of Kettlewell’s neighbours wee boy’s hand before the game.

Some Motherwell fans really are awful people. ☹️ ☹️ ☹️

Yeah I understand someone in the main stand shouted “how’d you like it kettlewell” at the end….. simply unacceptable, there’s kids there and possibility family members…… sometimes I can only just shake my head at such incidents

Every time I've seen us win the cup we start off with a 1 - 0 victory.

That for me was pretty poor , a team who did just enough and no more to win . 
 

I appreciate it’s the cup against a stuffy team etc etc but that’s not how we’ve gone about our business this season . 
 

glad to be through , just not a great amount to shout about for those paying hard earned cash .

It certainly wasn’t great and the team selection was questionable but Ross County were always coming here to make things as difficult as possible for us and spoil the game to their own advantage. They managed that to a point but fortunately we had the quality in our best player to undo their efforts.

We won and we’re in the next round so how it looked to the paying punter or as a spectacle is irrelevant. Cup ties are all about winning and we did that today.
