I'm not saying you're wrong. Only that represents a huge hike from a Deloitte report from 2024 talking about how healthy Norwegian football was. From June 2024, it says the league champions Vålerenga had the highest personnel costs of 20.8 million Norwegian Krone, which is only about £1.68 million.

From what I can see here is the money available per round

if eliminated 

Q2 - €175k + €350k (£450k)

Q3 - €175k + €550k (£630k)

playoffs - €175k + €750k (£800k)

If we reach the promised land 

League phase qualification €3.17m (£2.7m) then

€400k (£350k) per won match

€200k (£175k) per drawn match

For an example Hearts made £4.96m in 24/25 season from this competition and the payments are the same. 
This year 1st in the SPFL league gets £4.58m. (Yes I can’t bring myself to say winners  )

I guess it all depends on who we draw and the costs attached, but given that the early rounds are regionalised now and we are likely to do pretty well out of the home leg attendance, I would have thought, even if we do get put out at the first time of asking, we should make pretty decent money out of this.

Does anyone know what we made out of the League Cup this year as a comparison?

Like to get a Welsh side and scud them early. Nice wee trip down there at a reasonable cost.
I’d then love a trip to Poland after that…. Been a few times over there and it’s a brilliant place to visit.
