I see the club are advertising dates TBC. Does who beats who decide the seeding? As someone who normally reads absolutely zero into pre-season friendlies, I have a similar feeling. To be honest, I don't even mind if our mindset is now to use our transfer hoard to strengthen the squad over the next few weeks at the risk of being papped out of Europe early again.
