And with Gary Mason being booked for the Midden then we have another card safety barrier (albeit the ultimate decision not all judged on bookings but certainly a major factor). Andy_P Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Pleased not to have lost obviously and if that's 7th place secured then, well that's good too. Bit of a topsy-turvy game. Thought they were right up for it at the start without ever being threatening before we scored and suddenly we looked right in command. Then out of the blue Caley score, look much the better in the second half, deservedly get in front and suddenly the roles are reversed and having looked clueless for much of the 2nd half, we get a goal. Not many you could really say were on top of their game for us. Several played half-decent in patches, some were pretty anonymous. Hope we can up our game a bit for the derby on Saturday. Played well in patyches, but clearly the game meant more to the visitors and it showed with them having just a bit more hunger. Won't criticise our guys too much, first goal Hammel would have taken a card by prventing the run in I thought, tonight wasn't the game to do that in. Weird game today, glad we got a point nevertheless. They seemed to coz us alot of problems, great seeing McLean net............. it would have been nice to see some young guys getting a game in the run in...Hoping St Mirren go down.
