Incredible to see individual players being slated when we've just put in a superb team performance and got a great result. It was the same at the match last night when all I heard was Vogts being criticised. Not great goals, great performance, great start to the season..... It seems like even when things are about as good as they will ever be for Motherwell fans, a lot of them still want to whine and moan. Seriously, after last night we are talking about Maswanhise's alleged taxi conduct? It'd be funny if it wasn't also grim as fuck.

The important part is his general touch and control are invariably poor and have been for months. Two simple lays offs don.t change that fact. If we are going to evidence two simple instances in a game that hes playing welI. I'll counter with him missing the penalty on Saturday, lost the ball for St Mirrens 2nd goal. Last night he lost an easy ball the nearly resulted in a goal for Dundee Utd and sent a shocking ball for SOD who'd burst a gut to get into a great position. See its easy to cherry pick. For me He loses the ball far too often and fluffs it far two often. -
Must be hard comming on when team is playing well trying to get up to speed and fit in right away. Nothing came off for him at all last night. TJ two assists I missed at the game but saw on tv, so maybe I was focused on his bad stuff but he does give ball away a lot..
-
The important part is that he laid the ball on instead of trying to take on the Dundee Utd defence himself.
-
Think he’s still got the potential to be a decent player for us but don’t think any club will see the form he had 1st 6 months of last season Thought he was decent enough last night & yeah got the assists. still giving the ball away to cheaply for me, st Mirren goal ( 2nd? ) & last night when United broke & hit the post got a feeling he’ll move on today

I could have laid on the balls for the 2nd and 3rd goal. I don't doubt his effort but his touch and control are poor and have been for months.. -
Bit harsh.......I think Jake GR has been really good............ahhhhhhhhhh got you now 🤣🤣

I noticed that last night , he looked like he was trying to lift his spirits. - Today
-
You can smell the shite from a long way off with that one.
-
What a bit of business getting Lowry in, reminds me of Turnbull.
-
Confidence and ability go hand in hand you wont have one without the other, so maybe Vogt is not as good as we hoped he would be. Ive not seen anything from him so far in albeit limited game time to convince me. Otherwise, he never seems to read the game well and be where the action is,. I hope he does come good but at the moment he has the look of a certain Australian team mate about him, and for the sake of clarity its not Priestman or Jonny K
-
Also when it gets weird and folk start going personal on the guy based on one persons interaction with him.
-
Noticed on Instagram post from club at end of game when players applauding fans Alfred putting his arm round Vogt. Poor lad just looks devoid of confidence. Hope he can turn it round, there are glimpses there but when confidence low its hard.
-
I think knackered more than dejected
-
Maswanhise looked completely dejected at full time last night. Either that, or he was absolutely knackered.
-
It might be controversial but does he really need to go and clap the fans every 5 mins? I thought he was really good last night. Worked very hard and assisted 2 goals. If he turns up does his job and then wants to get ready to go home is that a major issue?
-
Exactly my thoughts. He is still working his socks off imo and very fine lines between being frustrated with him and his moves coming off. He could quite easily be on another 2/3 or 4 goals for season. I know it's a forum but criticisms of some players starts far too early. Hodge was getting it on Sunday as well which again I thought was not right. We are building again a team which hopefully will be similar to last tears and let's enjoy it. We will lose along the way but instant criticism of our own team is not a good look.

Thought it was a soft red, yellow at most. -
Good point pal, something I always try to encourage for players that are struggling, poor Willy being the main one. I notice after game that Alfred said he brought on 5 quality subs, winder if in part said to give willy a boost. Bench looking strong though when you consider williams, rcc and said didnt even feature. Happy Days
-
Also heard that last night. He said his farewells to the players yesterday morning and headed back to Oz.
-
It's from a rangers YouTube channel, I wouldn't read too much into it
-
I thought Willy got in the way of Willy 🤪
-
I was always hopeful he would come good and in first season him and JT looked a good combo until........yup that's right......he got injured. Good luck to him
-
Yeah not just the team we play there but the Ref and VAR never mind the toxic fans 🧐
