  1. Past hour
  2. That would be great news. Would really like to hold onto Watt
  3. There was a lot of talk of Watt to Rangers but it's been suggested to me that might be less likely now with McInnes there and Devlin out of contract and available for hee haw...
  4. Today
  5. I'll be over for a beer then Allan. 🤣
  6. I have a spot in the garden earmarked already for the old seats Dave, Alison has still to sign off on them but they will be in place.😂
  7. Good to see you buying and recycling the POD seats that are being ripped out. Postage costs could be hefty though.
  8. If there's some place in particular you'd like to visit, much safer just booking it for your next holiday.
  9. Seeing as safe-standing is off the table for now, I have put an order in for one of these:
  10. Sligo was pretty easy to get to and not bank breaking. Getting to the Faroes is a nightmare. I’m holding firm for next round lol 😂
  11. TBH I thought Maswanhise was almost a done deal just - he was already high risk and now World Cup - be stunned watt - less obvious bit of the money is right then hard to refuse Be happy if all 3 stayed but with all the speculation and if at the right price I could see it happening
  12. Why are people assuming well sell Watt, Just and Maswanhise all in the same window ?
  13. I want mine with arm rests and thicker padding
  14. At the core even if the better players do move on there’s plenty to build on. RCC will be an interesting one as I’m not sure what his best position is . Felts he was shoe horned in to various roles but if fit he can add lots of value . We do need some quality signings to start coming through the door - particularly defenders
  15. I received an email today to say that seats are being replaced in the POD. New ones will have higher backs to comply with UEFA regulations.
  16. The club is installing new seats in the POD. Just received an email, obviously helps cater for UEFAs ruling on minimum heights the backs should have etc.
  17. A few of my mates said that about Sligo " we will waIt for the next round" football aside they missed a great trip. However we are a very different team and playing in a style light years away from what Alexander served up so i think we will do well and progress to Q3
  18. I would really hope we could progress from this game, we really should be better than HB. If we can, a more accessible next round should hopefully await.
  19. That all seems fair, just that I'd move Sparrow into the midfield pack. He does alright covering at fullback but it really isn't for him.
  20. Yesterday
  21. Unfortunately no brother could i interest you in his cousin though? Al Hassan Touré 👀
  22. Got an email from club today saying no charter si ive booked up. Roughly £700 per head for me and my boy. Day in London on 29th, fly home on 1st August The 29th is a National holiday so its best avoiding day before game as hotels are full and whats left are crazy money. I got a hotel for Thursday/Friday for £182 Didn't go to Sligo so I promised this trip to my boy.
  23. The last one gets my vote,YaYa, with a free song already thrown in does he have a brother.
  24. Thats correct...a repeat of last seasons friendly, which was preceded by a 7s tournament hosted by the Block E lads, and will be again this year, in aid of mens mental health charities. Motherwell were very happy with the event last year and offered it up again this season...as with last season it'll be a young 'well side brought over to Bellshill
  25. Bellshill Athletic have posted on their Facebook page that they'll host Motherwell in a friendly on Saturday July 4th at 3pm.
  26. This Motherwell's Greatest is a great piece of fun, as we know it can never be definitive. Personally, I would have to include anyone who played in the league and cup-winning teams (including LC) because they proved they achieved at the top level in their era. There can't be anyone still alive who saw the league champions, although I worked with an old guy who had. Stevenson and Ferrier were sought after by several English clubs in a blank-cheque fashion (notably Arsenal) and Willie McFadyen scored an unsurpassed record 52 goals when we won the league. My Dear Old Dad would tease me by saying John McMenemy was a haddie who missed more than he scored, but then my father was an Accies fan who I don't think grasped JM's main function, which, as an IR, was to put it on a plate for WMcF. He also boasted he was the happiest man in Motherwell as he worked an extra time-and-a-half shift as a mechanic in Taggart's garage next to FP as Clyde crushed us 0-4 in the 1939 Cup Final. If we include all the trophy-winning teams, it would be all down to the personal opinion of supporters who have seen the younger generations of MFC players, which is where the fun comes in. Faîtes vos jeux and Tongs ya bass!
