What a time to be a Well fan! I could never have fathomed that any team in our league could play the way we do never mind our relatively small club. It's been truly memorable and that's thanks to the players and staff who have all played a real blinder. Who knows what shape we'll take next season but one thing's for sure and it's that our club is in good hands. I'd love us to throw a bit of money at signing Welsh, he really looks like he enjoys being with us and I was gutted when his goal was chopped off today. Great team, great fans, happy days. COYW!

Go on, give us a selection. I love flattery 🤣!

Went for Sparrow, his Goal saving clearance tipped it for me. Played well defensively, always available in support and is a close second to Just for energizer bunny award. His control and distribution is also much improved. You could put forward a case for virtually any of the players today.

Did anyone else hear Tam Cowan today after the match on Radio Scotland? If I heard him correctly, he said he had seen pictures which showed Nicholson had clearly handled the ball in the incident against Celtic. Of course, I may have misheard him but I wondered if anyone else had heard his remarks? Strict liability will never be employed in Scottish football because the OT would have to be punished properly. Now I hear of another pitch invasion by Celtic and their officials today and an alleged assault on Lawrence Shankland. I'm sure the SFA will be all over it.......

Haven’t decided yet but once again I thought all of the subs done well, especially Said. He’s been lacking a bit lately but looked like his old mischievous self today. Gordon and Cookie played well. Connelly didnt have much to do but done well with ball at his feet and collecting balls into the area. i think we channeled our frustration from midweek into positive energy today. We Closed down amd pressures well off the ball and we’re really good on the ball today. Hardly even noticed we were down to ten men for almost 30 mins due to stoppage time. What a terrific way to finish our season. Compare the Clyde game to this Hibs game, what an astounding improvement.

So many compliments from fans of other teams regarding the way we have played football this season.

Yes, an especial bugbear of mine, this myth that Scottish players somehow uniquely in Europe can't play football based on excellent ball control, quick movement and passing when this was precisely how the Ancell Babes did it over 60 years ago and were revered for it.. Maybe the Scotland manager himself might learn a few lessons from JBA, but frankly I doubt it. Thanks for a wonderful season that restored my faith in the beauties of football, MFC.

Welsh. Merits a place at the World Cup imo. Mention for Gordon who has slotted in incredibly well in the last week and gave it his all despite knowing his future lies elsewhere.
-
Also delighted to have proved all the old dinosaurs wrong who said this style of football wouldn't work in the Premiership for a wee team like ours.

A great way to end the season. Credit to JBA, the backroom staff and last, but not least, the players. It really was a fitting way to conclude our campaign; with good and bad facets. * recording a win in apotentially togh game * playing excellent football, the best many of us can remember * big noisy support * player red carded * goal chalked off by VAR * poor referee * deserving to win by a few goals but settling for one * a clean sheet Our season in a microcosm. Ironically, Matty Connelly wasn't really tested. Good to see Faddy Mk2 score the winner. The main thing though is that we finished 4th, the spot we've held for some time and qualified for Europe automatically.

Now just annoyed that Falkirk lost all but one of their post-split games.
-
They certainly are out of control. Pitch invasions with Celtic FC staff joining in; fans being assaulted; now opposition players allegedly being assaulted; and games being abandoned early. The SFA needs to take strong action but won't. It hasn't even commented on Wednesday evening's goings on. If it can impose strict liability for pyros then it can do so here. Points deduction required and away ticketing allocations reduced, as they did with us at Dundee. .

I would be fine with that

This is what happens when you give entitled, arrogant arseholes like the Celtic support an inch. They are out of control and basically doing whatever they like with no comeback. There was no Rangers fans at Fir Park or at Celtic Park today to shift the blame onto for Celtic’s fans behaviour, where Hearts effectively had to take their players off the park BEFORE the end of the game for their safety and straight onto the team coach. That is the second time in a few days that a game has ended with thousands of Celtic fans on the field of play but this time it was worse. Hearts should be all over this and be shouting from the rooftops about how they had to remove their players due to them being accosted or even possibly assaulted by Celtic supporters. I’m sure Derek McInnes will have plenty to say, he ‘gets it’ he knows what Celtic are.

That was the most pleasing aspect for me. A great way to finish a great season.
-
Definitely the most enjoyable season of league football I remember 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 will always be remembered for the consistency we showed at that time. Though the football this season , and the way the fans have got behind us and the increased crowds have been something else

Mrs Baillie and Sgt Major Quirk would have been proud of this team. COYW!

What can be said about this season, this team and the manager? If we hadn't got 4th, it would have been a travesty. I expect us to do pretty well in Europe and put Motherwell on the football map. This team play the best football that I have seen in my time watching Motherwell, and that started a very long time ago. It has been an exceptional season for footballing entertainment at Fir Park. The connection created between the team and the support is phenomenal. I hope that it continues next season and we see attendances continue to grow. The manager comes across as a real gentleman who knows his stuff, and takes no nonsense. The transformation from a season and a half ago has been nothing short of remarkable. JBA, the backroom staff and the players deserve all the plaudits. As a fan, it has been a wonderful season and I'd like to thank the manager, team and backroom staff for the enjoyment that they have given me.
