I definitely think he's an upgrade though that won't surprise many regular readers on this forum
-
It is a cracker
-
Several people have said to me without fear of argument "Well, the keeper is an upgrade on Ward". I'm not so sure...
-
As mentioned before, delighted to see Thor come on and get some minutes, I thought he looked sharp and mobile and I hope he can now stay fit. I thought he had something about him last year and he does give us something different. if we do lose JT (as much as he’s been very average of late) we do need another striker in. Thor and the palmer lad look fine but Kanga isn’t an out and out striker and AP is clearly offski and Hendry is a chocolate fireguard. And the Less said about Willy the better.

I think Priestman was showing real signs that he could fill that gap prior to his injury. I agree they're all excellent players. Interesting to see when they're all fit, how we set up. Don't think any of them could play the role Lowry is playing so you figure one of the three drops out...

Thanks for the update… I think Fadinger, Hodge and Priestman are all excellent players. None of them are as good defensively as Watt was.

Probably unpopular view but that Strip today is streets ahead of the home strip.

Think I’m possibly the only person on here unconvinced with the keeper 2nd half though he did make some brilliant saves ( hard to see from other end of the stadium but looked decent ) to keep us in it some goal from the new boy but before that unconvincing from the build up people were giving him on here from YouTube ( goal was top level though & it’s a difficult 1 to come into some time will tell ) mentioned earlier about a right back, got the feeling personally it’s a year too far for O’Donnell, their left winger was decent though also mentioned another centre mid to take some of the load of fadinger, looked really tired today Good point in the end

Priestman is injured...

A great interview and a good insight into how JBA built up the players confidence. Also how Elliot and his family loved being part of the 'Well family.
-
Jeez!! Take it
-
aye only 23 and he put the ball ten feet wide when through on the keeper. I watched him closely in the warm up when they were all taking shots and the amount of times he didn't even get it on target was shocking..
-
Yep, not yet replaced Watts defensive contribution.
-
If Swansea are about to offer £3million as being suggested on the rumour mill bite their hand off.
-
Seen some idiots went on to pitch after equaliser
-
Despite my poor internet connection, Lowry looked class and if TJ wasn’t such a selfish wee git he would have had a goal.

Those last 2 posts sum up that travesty pretty perfectly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed. I think we lack a physical ball winning midfield player to stiffen-up our midfield and who can mix it if required. I don’t mean a thuggish hammer thrower type but someone who can provide protection for our creative players.
-
I’ve went for Longelo as I’m impressed with the power of work he is getting through. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he is still with us next weekend. Credit to Paulsen who kept us in the game and Lowry is a lovely footballer, terrific weight of pass.

Watched the game on a terrible feed which kept freezing in a hotel room so when it happened in the 93rd minute I switched off the tablet, got ready and went out for the evening, WTF? Was my thought when I just checked in on here. Happier man now

Yes, you're right, I should have said handled deliberately/consciously . His arm was pushed up (foul) by the Celtic player and Sam headed the instantaneous deflection out for a shy. Whole thing stank, as you obviously agree, and we come to the eternal killer question: would MFC have been given a penalty at the other end in those circumstances? QED, I think.
-
I can text the result Wednesday and they can nip down to Ladbrooks and put £200 on it Thursday morning.

I thought 1st goal should have been chalked off for a foul and I think our keeper shouldn't be getting beat at the near post for the second. However it is what it is and keeper saved us going 4-2 down
