  1. Past hour
  2. You have my total sympathy and the more folk that keep highlighting the problem then surely the club has to act. Everything been getting run so well but this is definitely an error that needs fixed
  3. Of course and I cant wait for the first dodgy decision against sellik, hopefully in our favour
  4. Totally agree. Logistical nightmare during the season tho. Probably mean closing sections off while working on it. Double work because no one took the time or foresight to actually test them out. Then thought they could buy their way out of it by reducing ticket prices
  5. Today
  6. Hope you have more luck than I did. No response whatsoever.
  7. I've just emailed both the club and Society about this problem. Something does need to be done, but as Denny says, the first step would be an acknowledgement that this has gone badly wrong.
  8. Yes and no. We need to move on but we absolutely should not forget or stop highlighting the scandalous officiating at the end of this game.
  9. I saw 2 incidents on Thursday night of seats breaking off the floor of the stand, purely by someone leaning on the back of the seat while letting another person past in their row. These seats are not fit for purpose.
  10. For me the only viable solution to the problem is for the club to acknowledge a mistake has been made in fitting these seats and then start the process to get them replaced with something fit for purpose.
  11. The sad thing is that the Board are now well aware of the issues but have remained silent. Looks like they are adopting the old ostrich trick of burying their heads in the sand hoping the problem will disappear. That applies to both Boards. So much for being fan orientated. When someone eventually gets injured they might show an interest. Or maybe not.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Witnessed two separate and quite nasty falls due to the seat situation. one fall put a person landing on top of people seated in the row in front, only a matter of time before there will be a reportable incident.
  14. It’s one of the only two trophys we can realistically win. That kind of outlook might work in England for the top sides but we aren’t going to win the league title and we’re never going to do anything of note in Europe. Just dismissing it as “it’s only the league cup, let’s just rest players” is an incredibly arrogant and naive take on it.
  15. I won't be going to semi final or final if it's against the smeltic now as seen that movie far too often.
  16. Yes odds against us financially but yes I want us to get to semi or final. We playing some good football but against old firm we up against finances and also referees.
  17. Hopefully we rest most of the starting 11 for Thursday. For me the league cup should be seen as an opportunity for the fringe players to get minutes. If it was the Scottish Cup I would feel differently but never really understood the attraction of the league cup and it should be even further down the priority list given the number of games we have played so far and may potentially be playing in the future.
  18. They do, but in reality they were never going to be as bad as they were last season when it certainly was our best chance of winning silverware especially with the manager and players we had. We didn’t get anywhere near it though but that’s history now. Celtic will more likely than not win the treble this season because they are the biggest club in the country, have the most money and therefore can afford players of a far higher standard than anyone else. But I still want us to go as far as we can in the domestic cups because that keeps our albeit slim chance of winning a trophy alive. I certainly don’t want to see us whimpering out in the last sixteen against Stenhousemuir.
  19. Celtic look much improved this season. Think last season was our best chance of winning it. Still could make money from semi final or final though
  20. We’re the top flight side playing against a lower league team in a Cup competition which we have reached the semi finals of in the last two seasons. We should ALWAYS be aiming to go as far as we possibly can in the domestic cups even if our chances of winning the competition is slim. But as we saw with St.Mirren last year if you are still in it you can still win it. Celtic were the favourites to win it this time last year as they always are, but had St.Mirren fielded a less than full strength side in earlier rounds and lost then they wouldn’t have won the trophy against a very much out of sorts Celtic side when they played them in the final.
  21. If the favourites win every cup tie we might as well just give Celtic the trophy now and the rest of us can focus on the league.
  22. Our strongest available starting 11 should play tomorrow. No excuses. We have been stung too many times in Cup ties when we’ve rotated and rested players. Tomorrow is a must win game, anything less is unacceptable.
  23. Aye, Connolly is in the squad because of his qualities in playing out from the back.
  24. Thats the funniest thing you have posted yet
  25. I'd fancy us to beat Palace 3 - 0 too.
  26. We are a good side and who knows stranger things have happened. The odds gave us a 10 to 20% chance. I'm not confident but I am proud that we've represtend ourselves well. Has a feeling of Dortmund all those years ago.
