Agreed.

I might be in the minority but I thought he was doing a good job, he’s signed some decent players and they play quite an attacking style. They also lost MCcowan and Cameron went a bit off form and they were victims of some shocking decisions but at no point did I think they’d go down. If anything I was surprised they didn’t make the top 6. not unless there’s an underhand thing going in with him going to hearts with his old mate.
-
That's crazy - hadn't seen news of that.
-
That's just ridiculous. It's been a poor season for them of course but he kept them up for two years, which isn't at all easy.
-
Dundee printed their GTF list earlier....Docherty sacked
-
I think Turnbull and Campbell were a bit of a double act like Pettigrew and Graham. They just weren't as good as solo artists
- Today
-
I think the 31st of May is the official contract end date for the players.
-
It was posted around a week after the season ended last year.
-
Not necessarily. It could be a few days yet.
-
Should we expect the annual GTF list to be published today?
-
There's a boy sits down from me in the Hunter who gives O'Donnell pelters every game and last Wednesday was no different. You'd think O'Donnell had pumped his Mrs the abuse he dishes out. We should never be subjecting our own players to that kind of treatment regardless of their performance.
-
When we signed him the press stated an option for a 2nd year.
-
Let's face facts about SOD. He's a liability in centre defence role. That's another game yesterday that he gave ball straight to an opponent which led to a goal. He has been doing this since returning from injury mid season, leading to numerous lost goals and consequently lost or drawn games. The guy is well past his sell by date at SPL leval. Not picking on him just looking at the facts and performances in front of me.

numpty started following MOTM Ross County 18-May-2025

To be fair - I've only been to two away games this season and they were both fine. In fact the support that Motherwell fans gave the team at tynecastle was incredible - like seriously you couldn't fault it from beginning to end. But I have spoken to fans who have said at some away games it's not been as good and that some players have had a lot of stick - SOD in particular.
-
That is why I don't go to away games
-
I forgot one was chalked off in first half
-
Was there? Who else got a goal chalked off apart from Slattery
-
I like Moses and I also have bit of a soft spot for Blaney. I hope Blaney recovers from his injury and does well if he doesn't play for us again
-
Apparently 2 goals chalked off. I only saw one as I had to step away now and again. Definitely Moses was offside when Sparrow’s shot hit the post
-
Moses has been great coming off the bench the last 2 games. Im not suggesting that he should he our starting striker. But he does appear to be a good iption off the bench if he was happy to fulfil that role and isnt costing us too much. That said, we still have Robinson and Stuparevic on the books, so maybe not realisitic to keep him, evein if he was amenable. Will need to see the disallowed goal again. Couldnt see too much wrong with it, bit there was a lot going on in the box so hard to tell...... Would defo keep Seddon. He is one of the better defenders we have at the club.
-
If Slattery hadn't had those two goals chalked off he'd have been our top scorer (which is madness) but take a bow Slattery, Maswanhise and Sparrow - 6 each. Total team effort
-
I feel a bit sorry for Moses to be fair. He was supposed to go out on loan to Thistle and that didn't happen. He apparently wanted away because he wasn't getting the minutes but I'll be very surprised if he's here next season I was chatting to my brother earlier and he said the only player out of the ones that are out of contract that he would like to retain is Seddon - but apparently we have an option on him? Also didn't realise we got another goal chalked off (Slattery) for being offside
-
Hard to judge that today as the first half was so poor. Seddon possibly the pick of a bad bunch. Second half Andrews, Miller, Halliday, Sparrow and even Thompson all played well. Ultimately I went for Moses. He was far more effective than Armstrong had been, caused some absolute mayhem, scored a goal should have had at least one more. Just a throroughly entertaining performance.
