  1. Past hour
  2. The window in England shuts at 19:00. I read that this year we're also closing at the same time. From an article in the Scotsman: "The Scottish Premiership transfer window will officially close on Monday 1 September, at the earlier time of 7pm. This is slightly earlier than the last few windows and is aligned with many of the top European leagues." https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/latest-premiership-news/when-does-the-scottish-transfer-window-close-how-late-can-celtic-rangers-and-rivals-make-transfers-5256299
  3. The Grimsby result was also highly entertaining. Amaluzor must be disappointed he didn't get a piece of that.
  4. Definitely a missed opportunity. Just like Tynecastle last Saturday. As I said the other week, Rangers are rank rotten and will drop plenty of points this season.
  5. Im embarrassed we only managed a draw against them 😜
  6. Today
  7. If we were as good as Club Brugge, maybe. I don't expect us to hit that level for another week or two.
  8. A brilliant night's entertainment it has been That point first game of the season definetly 100% 2 points dropped when you see the state of them
  9. No manager in their right minds would want that job. The only money mad mercenary out their that’d take it would be Brendan rodgers
  10. As long as they don’t try and get our manager
  11. 5-0 at half time. The best they’ll get is a draw now 🤣🤣 absolutely fantastic viewing. Even better than the other mobs failure last night and their fan implosion today.
  12. Just wanted to say "Liam Kelly" so I can mention the absolute destruction of his mob in the first half. That American investment has been great value.
  13. McKinstry has scored for 'them' this evening.
  14. War chest X Wheeling and dealing X Move some out before bringing some in X Slams shut X Bingo!
  15. Amaluzor baby…. So why don’t you kill me. we really had a ready made song for that guy.
  16. Justin Amaluzor, remember him, hes on the bench for Grimsby tonight against Man Untd in the Carabao cup.
  17. I've no inside knowledge at all, but will be surprised if there's not more comings and goings before Monday at 2300 hrs. One or two additions and the same number leaving, either permanently or on loan.
  18. Not at the moment I don't think
  19. I’d take him back as a permanent move to see if we can improve him and sell him on in 2 years but a loan deal would be pointless unless Rangers are willing to give us some cash for our work.
  20. While I don't think Rice is a good option (particularly not on loan) I would never close the door on a good young player who made a poor choice. Especially if they made that choice as a 15 year old.
  21. Not long till transfer window closes and I’m really hoping we are in the process of getting a center back signed up that is better than anyone we have. Not a slight on the players we have but obviously if you’re trying to strengthen the team you want better than what you have. I’m ok with our two keepers, I think we have good numbers and decent back up for our midfield and forward positions but centre back position is where we need to strengthen. I think we will be hard to beat if we can find that player. Combine hard to beat with the football we are playing and it could be the most enjoyable season for a long long time. Added to that is the excitement of the fans. Already more people coming to the games with positive encouragement for the players and creating a much more vibrant atmosphere. Even people talking of bringing their friends to watch us and people who have been scunnered over the years talking of coming back to Fir Park. It’s quite a while since there has been such an optimistic feel like this around Fir Park and getting a strong imposing footballing centre half will help immensely to keep that going. C’mon Motherwell, one more Rabbit out of the hat!!
  22. Excellent post and pretty much summarises the last 12 months . Ive got to be honest I personally didn't think we would have made the strides we have in such a relatively short period of time . Although this topic is addressed at the Chairman I'm also delighted with the efforts of the CEO who seems to go about his work in a pragmatic and dilligent manner working it seems tirelessly behind the scenes . And of course the fellow directors and WS who seems to be sailing in the same direction . What a refreshing change
