TNG Engage!

Interesting every week now to see what the starting line up will be. We have several great options now. Quite the difference from the “Tombola” approach from some of our recent managers.

Apologies to wellgirl but I would have Slattery on bench tomorrow, not been great past few games. Maybe give priestman a run
-
It sums up the Scottish Media when they are suddenly talking about a three horse race since Rangers have over taken us in the league. Two horse race last week and now a three horse race hahahaha embarrassing. However the ring master of them all is Iain McCall I actually think he has something against us probably cause he has applied for the job a few times and failed. This season alone picked us to get relegated, had a go at out manager for being outspoken about Hanley and now tipping us to finish top 6th!What a old boys bridge fossil I can't stand to hear his voice.Bet if it was a Lennon or Ferguson in charge he be getting a chub on about Motherwell. Anyway easy win tomorrow maybe another 3-0 might be more.
-
If Dundee decide to sit back and counter attack us I’d be looking for Slattery and Watt to be taking some shots from outside the box and Stama/Hendry looking for the rebounds. An early goal for us would perhaps force Dundee to be more attacking.
-
The pre-match are the regular journos from the Scottish media. The post match on our YouTube channel are our media team. Of course, the interviews on BBC telly and radio are BBC journos.
-
While I agree with you, my comments were more in reference to the interviews for “the gaffer said”. I assume they are part of Motherwell media team? If they are general scottish journalists then I have been assuming wrong.
-
Scottish journalists are arseholes, they only care about two teams . They will be pissed off at being sent to cover the diddy clubs.
-
Yes 😂 I think they need to put a bit more thought into their questions for JBA.
-
Good to hear Welsh is ready for tomorrow
-
His eye rolls are almost audible at some of the journo's questions.

Yes, we don't want to turn Fir Park into another version of Parkhead or Ibrox. Keep politics well out of Fir Park.
-
You are that confident we will get 2 penalties awarded then? As that seems to be the only way he will score. I know it was a tounge in cheek remark, but would love you to be correct and he does score 2 from open play, but ive seen nothing from him so far that suggests that will happen.

League Cup Semi Motherwell v St Mirren 1/11/2025

Not that often. Well not good crosses anyway. Its not really a feature of our play. We tend to work the ball around a lot more looking for openings rather than just chuck it in there for someone to attack. Even when we do get to the by line, more often than not hit the first man or fire it way over the top. Not saying we dont need another striker, or that I wouldnt take Ayunga or someone similar. Just dont think its a given that they would score the goals we need. Id still like to find out though...... -
I have absolutely no time for him, or his political party, but think that leaving the officials to get on with their job is a better policy. They get enough abuse from every angle without adding any personal grief for what they do beyond football.
-
Same here. I went to a WOSL game last week and 2 pies 2 teas and a can of coke was £6. I stopped buying food and drink at Fir Park ages ago.
-
How often do we fling crosses into the box for noone to get on the end of them though? If we had a forward with that instinct in and around the box we'd have near doubled our current goal tally. I agree that maswanhise probably wouldn't fit into their system but he'd create some amount of assists in our team if he had someone to aim at.

Don’t know what prices are like in Scotland but over here, i just don’t buy any drink or food anymore when i go to cinema or sports games. Prices are fkn ridiculous and I refuse to encourage them.
-
And no change out of a tenner ……….
-
The past few pies I’ve had have been a fkn disgrace. As you say, stuck to the foil and soggy so you can’t even get it out. Handling one of those and drinking a flat pint of tennents at the same time on a cold concourse sounds fun.
