Agreed and I think we may say Sparrow for Said
- Today
-
If Koutroumbis is fit, I imagine he'll start at the back.
-
Assume we’re expecting a line up of Ward, Sparrow, Longelo, SOD & Gordon. Watt, Fadinger, Slattery, Just, Said and Maswanhise. I’d consider going with Cook or Priestman rather than Said, thought he was very poor on Saturday. A bit worried about how our central defence will cope with Maeda.
-
Stuart McKinstry scoring a bizarre but spectacular goal for Accies in the play off v Clyde!
-
Ox v Watt
-
Today, however, we have the Dunfermline game - which I'm looking forward to.
-
Which meant Aberdeen only needed to draw at Ibrox, and they still blew it.
-
Oh aye, that rings a bell.
-
Thought he spoke really well and was outstanding against the Jam Tarts. I don't expect SW to be here next season so happy to keep him on the basis of Saturday.
-
...And the week before in our last home game of the season, we pumped title-chasing Rangers 3-0
-
Is this the first time we're looking at a final day shoot-out between 2 teams going for the title since Rangers v Aberdeen in 1991?
-
Not at all. I just think he probably knows how to manage his players better than we do.
-
I suspect SOD and Gordon will be the central defensive partnership. They have a big ask tomorrow but who knows. I do think VAR will play a part and not to our benefit.
-
He may well do , all I'm saying is I disagree. We have set some genuinely outstanding benchmarks this season and Saturday wasn't one of them. I just happen to disagree that we were not outstanding , it's not a criminal offence to disagree with the manager.

Since sky took up the Motherwell game, it’s now showing up on paramount+ here in the states.

Very refreshing to hear some positive comments from Ablaw The Dyke on Scottish football for a change:
-
Pretty sure the cup winners would take the equivalent of 3rd spot (i.e. Aberdeen last year who finished 5th in league)... which would be a laugh seeing rangers pushed down a rung. I would have assumed in that case, the difference between 4th and 5th would be some sort of seeding. Tried to find out but can't see it anywhere so no idea.
-
3 qualifying rounds then a play off round prior to league stage. so to make the league portion you have to get past 3 teams
-
I think thats right yes.
-
I know the info is out there but to be clear...4th gets you 2nd Q round Conf league as will 5th if Celtic win the Cup seeing as they will be top 2 now? If Dunfermline win the cup they take a spot instead of 5th placed team?
-
Would love to finish the season with no old firm victories at Fir park this season. C’mon Motherwell let’s make this our best performance and result of the season!!!!
-
The gaffer
-
Your on the money spider 👍
-
My worry about that point is if rohl has started to lose the dressing room the rangers players don't turn up at all. Please lets just do this ourselves!!
-
Rangers are so spineless it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Hibs turn them over. im not at all confident about us getting anything tomorrow night but I go in hope. I have a suspicion it’ll be a fight for 4th on Saturday at Easter road.
