  1. Past hour
  2. Playacting will be rife as it is every other week as will the other dark arts of wasting time, clipping ankles jersey pulling etc etc. ( I know that is exactly the point you are making). I think the problem with Slattery's incident is that it was so blatant and so completely unnecessary on every possible level. The biggest danger is that now Slattery is the boy that cried wolf so I would think Jim Goodwin will be telling his players that they have a couple of free hits on Slattery today should he play. The refs are going to be very wary every time Slattery goes down. It was an unbelievably mindless thing to do last weekend and he has shot himself in the foot.
  3. Going by statdium map, could be quite a healthy home crowd today.
  4. Today
  5. Certainly not from our side! πŸ˜‰ I look forward to seeing the highlights of the St Mirren game with some anticipation! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
  6. Only over reacting we have seen since has come from martin o'neill πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ Come on well, let's do this today
  7. Presumably after all the Callum Slattery chat over the past week we won't see any playacting whatsoever in today's Premiership games?
  8. I think Fadinger has to start regardless of how well Priestman has played. Fadinger is different class and has had a break and is fresh. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t straight back in. What a great selection to have though.
  9. Yesterday
  10. If I was dropping anyone it would be Priestman. He doesnt deserve to be dropped, but he is a huge asset to bring off the bench with 30 minutes to go. He is the most natural replacement for Watt, and protecting him after the 60 minute mark would be smart imho. The alternative is go same again and bring Fadinger on after 60 minutes for either Watt or Slattery.
  11. There's no doubt in my mind if we won all 11 we would be Champions, however the chances of us winning all 11 games on the trot are almost impossible.
  12. Think this could be a harder game than most expect. However if both teams play to their normal a home win should happen. Just looked at ticket map and I think we could hit 7500 home fan which would be a great turn out.
  13. I’ll be happy with whatever JBA decides. Tough choice But isn’t it great that we are struggling to pick which one to leave out because they are all so good.
  14. Considering the number of players from all teams who have done this sort of thing prior to Slats incident. He has taken a disproportionate amount of flak, especially considering that JBA is one of the few managers (only?) who has stood up and addressed the issue with his own player for all to see. We are done with it now so they can all go take a flying duck to themselves. I hope Slats plays a blinder and scores a hat trick …………. To match the one I hope JT scores ! as a point if interest, autocorrect changed flying duck to the phrase I was trying to avoid and I had to go back and manually correct it πŸ˜‚
  15. I wouldnt. Much as I though his reaction to the incident was embarassing, did him and us no favours, I wouldnt give the St Mirren fans still greetin about it any encouragement! He has had the waggy finger. Time for the arm round the shoulder. (And shove that new contract in front of him πŸ˜‰)
  16. I'm fully expecting JBA to replace Slattery wtih Fadinger tomorrow, so he can imply dropping him was part the "dealt with internally" process even if it is in reality load balancing.
  17. 100% Win the next 2 games and we show we have developed into a team that can win the games they need to. After that, we need to go to Glasgow and win. You cant win the title unless you can win in Glasgow (apparently)......
  18. We have definitely done a lot of great work but as JBA keeps reminding us amd we all know, we have to keep up and improve over the last 11 games COYW!!!!
  19. I think 13 of the 18 we gave up in the first round of fixtures
  20. Only Hearts (3), Celtic (3), Killie (2), Falkirk (2). After that we have never lost more than 1 goal in any league game. Thats bonkers.
  21. Killie and Falkirk scored 2 each at first park in first round of fixtures
  22. We lost 3 goals in two early games against Hearts and Celtic. So can’t be many other games that we have lost more than one goal across the season.
  23. JT been a bit on the quiet side of late so tomorrow would be a good time For him to burst back into life. I’d Like to see us try a different kick off tactic. Just give the ball to Said and let him have a go at dribbling thru the opposition to score πŸ˜ƒ
  24. 1 defeat in 19 league games. And even that was the game at Ibrox where we should have had at least a point. We have only conceded 5 goals in the league since the League Cup semi final. Thats 17 league games. Given we have only lost 18 league goals in 27 games so far that means we lost 13 of those in the first 10 games before the semi final. The semi final was a sore one, but Jens has clearly learned from that defeat and tweaked the system. United have some dangerous players up top, but they will have to commit bodies in the press to get the better of us which should leave them more open at the back. Could be a very good game!
  25. I make it 23 points out of our last 9 league games back to our victory of Selic
  26. Over the last 6 games Motherwell 14 Celtic 13 Ramgers 12 hearts 10 hibs 10 falkirk 9
  27. The media doesn't care about our campaign or trying to unsettle us. They just know the best way to get clicks/listeners/viewers is to mention the OF in every sentence. And sadly, it works.
