  1. Past hour
  2. Our next manger is already in the door
  3. If he keeps playing at his current level Celtic will likely want to sell him on for a million or two in the summer.
  4. I thought Stuperevic was still weeks (or months) away from competitive fitness.
  5. Think the year and a half left on his contract would also be a stumbling block. Cant imagine Celtic letting him go free.
  6. I'm sure everybody is mentioning Jens as a replacement, because that's the way football works and he is flavour of the month. There are plenty of other managers that play the same style, so it shouldn't be difficult to recruit one of the hundreds that implement the same philosophy. Elliott Watt has played for Wolves, Carlisle Utd, Salford City, Burton Albion and St Johnstone, and I heard him in an interview saying every one of those teams (including Carlisle Utd) had managers that played the same way - which is why he found the transition to be straightforward. If Carlisle can find a manager to implement it, surely Celtic or Aberdeen can find someone too. It would be ironic if they want to implement something progressive by following the well worn path of poaching a rival boss.
  7. Today
  8. I hope to god we push the boat out and sign Welsh full-time, I personally think he has been outstanding when he has featured and can't believe Celtic seem to rate Scales higher 🤔 Our wage structure might be a stumbling block
  9. Absolutely no chance of that I don't think Aberdeen fan I work with yesterday claiming Jens has been mentioned as a replacement on their forums I honestly don't think he will be leaving to go to any Scottish team . Just wishful thinking which shows what a great job this guy is doing at Fir Park
  10. McGinn new contract signed until 2027
  11. Stuparevic to raith rovers, halliday to Patrick and balmer to ross county from a post over on p&b,we should be looking to move all 3 of them on as well as osong.
  12. I can’t help but think with Osong that he’s only on the bench and continually getting a few mins every other week because of an agreement. He’s shown absolutely nothing in the time he’s been here.
  13. The lad has potential. Sensible decision though as it would too much time to get him up to speed, by the time he was fully match fit the season would be over. Wouldn't be surprised if Osong also goes back. He's not had enough game time to warrant him staying on.
  14. I think if we qualify for Europe next season, that might be something that keeps JBA with us. I also think this is now the way we are going to play. Wimmer wanted to start it but couldn't with the shite we had. I can't see the board reverting to type and brining in another Kettlewell, they have seen how well this system works so will be looking for another JBA. Lets be honest, you are an up and coming manager, you want to eventually manage a bigger club, you see how well JBA has done here and how it has raised his stock, who wouldn't want to come?
  15. 12 hours in and 2026 steelmen online joke of the year goes to MJC
  16. Sounds like we are happy with cancelling his loan. Starting to clear the decks?
  17. That's sule away back to west brom
  18. Correct, if we continue playing as we are and finish in the top half of the table or do well in the Scottish Cup then it is inevitable that bigger clubs will come calling for JBA. And he would go if/when that happens because that’s just the way it is. We’ve seen it before and we’ll see it again. However there is no point worrying about it. As I said yesterday about Tam Cowan’s dampener pish on Radio Scotland after the game just let’s enjoy having a team that plays good football and a manager who seems intelligent, has a clear plan and focus on how he wants us to play. Make the most of it instead of fretting about when it’s all going to end because doing that only spoils it for yourself and the rest of the support. I can’t stand constant negativity neither I can.
  19. I reckon Robbie Keane will be the next green arse manager. Doing well at ferencvaros. He fits the criteria . He beat the blue arse cheek recently An ex player Hes Irish, their moronic support would lap that up and the board would maybe get a break for a time.
  20. It does achieve something, it confirms the view that fans have had for years, ie the SFA in its current form is not fit for purpose, using shit technology to justify shit refereeing decisions, with no comeback or censure, while pandering to the ugly sisters at the expense of every other club in the country.
  21. I see that the Herald is touting JBA for the Celtic vacancy, which as yet doesn't exist. Thats it now on the banned list. They wouldn't do that if a Scots manager was in post at Parkhead; highly unlikely one would be of course.
  22. Happy new year everyone! Hoping we start off with a convincing victory against StMirren amd go on another run of clean sheets and victories.
  23. of course they will but the reference was to 7000 home supporters which wont happen on Saturday.
  24. home support on Tuesday was 6635. The away stand holds 4800, there are Motherwell fans in hospitality too.
  25. I've been racking my brains for days trying to figure out who Nancy reminded me of. It clicked this week. Mick, from the TV series Rev
  26. Thought I was dreaming had a nightmare 😳😳
