Yes, his tactical feigning of injury latterly knocked him down a bit in my estimation: an excellent goalie, though.

Anderlecht signing Antman from Rangers for 拢4.5m might mean they drop their interest in Maswanhise. He might end up being the one to stay a bit longer. His Agent will be gutted.

Uncanny

Is number 40 David Turnbull's half brother?
-
Fancy us to score at least once and that means HB would need to get 3 just to get it to extra time. Based on what I saw at Fir Park that doesn't seem very likely. I think our team is significantly stronger with just Longelo and Maswanhise back. I know Maswanhise won't start but coming on the last 20 minutes might suit him with his pace.

I hope they start him. Id rather that then they bring him on at 0-0 with 15 minutes to go. Dont think my heart could stand the chaos! 馃槅 -
I assume that they'll have Moses available to this one. Hopefully he won't rediscover his goalcoring touch tomorrow.
-
No chance of getting a "good guy" when assessing that line up.
-
Should be interesting to see how it compares to the actual outcome. I鈥檓 a wee bit surprised to see 54% chance of us winning, based on reading that they haven鈥檛 lost a home euro game in 5 years but then, a lot of factors coukd be behind that and also behind victories against stronger teams. A team going there with a 3,4 or 5 goal lead are probably coasting thru the game and not playing a full strength team. So while you can run the numbers, there鈥檚 a lot of hidden factors. Hope your predictor is correct and we can get thru to the next round. Hopefully you鈥檒l keep us updated on your progress throughout the season.

He won't be able to rush anywhere because of his stauner -
It may turn out to be a loooong season .
-
He'll still be recovering from one of his 'big teams' getting seen to last night.
-
That 3% chance is all it takes for MJC to go rushing to the bookies

To be known as the Craig Gordon rule.

I assume the plan is we pay higher wages to get a better class of player on loan rather than buy a lesser player on lower wages

I see they are trialing a new rule in England this season to try and prevent "tactical timeouts" where keepers go down with fake injures to disrupt momentum and allow tactical reshuffles. Unlike outfield players who were required to leave the field of play for 1 minute, there was no equivalent for the keepers, and so no consequence to the team. This season, if the game is stopped for a goalkeeper injury, the manager has to nominate an outfield player to leave the field immediately and remain off the field for at least 1 minute after the restart. I like the idea, but not sure if it will work in practice.

Yes, and selectively wrong at times. The funny thing was that when the subtitles on the vid came to Collum's name it appeared as Pierluigi Collina on my feed. As if!

If the loans work then brilliant but as folk have said it affects our model of selling players. Am hopeful that the loans are to assist with the injuries and possibly give some reassurance to the manager re size of the squad at this early stage but also maybe more confidence in playing the youngsters. Won鈥檛 know if these loanees are good though till they play. Hopefully adds to the quality without us having to pay wages etc beyond our means. If we do have 9 million I would hope that we are at least investing 2 million back in player signings

I've been building this GPT footy predictor thing and as it goes along, it builds more and more research into it's flow. here's what it says about Thursday 馃檪 It's actual final prediction was 1:1 draw. Full analysis available if anyone wants to see it 馃檪 My confidence: Outcome Probability Motherwell win on the night 54% Draw 27% HB T贸rshavn win 19% Motherwell qualify 97% HB T贸rshavn qualify 3%

We brought in 3 loanees last season. 2 of them didn't work out (Sule and Osong) and one did (Welsh). If that model plus the players we signed on permanent deals managed to bring us success, there's not much need to deviate too far this season. As others have said, we have some unexpected injury problems to deal with too, and loans can be a good way to fill the gaps - directly or indirectly - if the expectation is that the injured players will return in the first half of the season.

I can relate to that as I have been ripping the a**e out of some jokes for years 馃お馃お

Didnt know that hb had such a good home record in europe and have beaten/drawn against some decent teams, will be tough and need to avoid ab early goal against us,heres hoping.
