Wondered that as well. Don't know if he was just explaining the reason for the delay?
-
Absolutely. I think Gordon may have been a better choice but after we scored that became irrelevant. Dakers and John-Jukes were just too physical for SOD and Paul McGinn. We do need another out and outcentre back, preferably one who can play a bit, like Welsh. He was missed today.
-
Just and no more. Why did the ref call the 2 captains over out of interest?
-
Good to have difficulty choosing yet again. Went for Priestman but, Fadinger, Just, Slattery and Said stood out as well. Priestman just looks so balanced and assured. All the more impressive given how limited his opportunities have been. Thought O'Donnell strolled it at the back, Dackers is a big awkward unit. Longelo caused a lot of problems for them going forward, especially in the second half.

7 goal swing with hibs great, don't quite understand mccann, yup killie started well but I thought from my seat a defo red card. I just love watching us and the atmosphere is great. I didn't rate but not sure why Thompson got boos, certainly not a player we miss, looks like yer mate that turns up for 7 a side when a player short
-
Fadinger or Priestman, take your pick. Although Just and Said are worth the entrance fee every week...
-
Really tough call, went for fadinger but easily could have been just or priestman
-
Donāt you just love it when the opposition gets a man sent off and then we score right away. If anything knocks the stuffing out of a team, thatās it!! We almost made it 3-0āat half.
-
Have to agree. Didn't look great but seemed to play OK.
-
I thought Killie had scored, watching it in real time but as soon as they showed the replay of the goal, polworth looked offside. Not by much but by VAR standards, I immediately said āoffsideā. Took VAR a wee bit longer than me to come to that conclusion
-
Killie gave us problems in the first 25 minutes, but we also had some very good chances, and looked like we could score on every attack. Once the game turned on their offside goal and we got our goal they fell apart and were awful. We scored some outstanding goals today. Priestman is class.
-
Priestman for me, but there were several others that would be hard to argue against, Just, Fadinger, Longello & McGinn were all outstanding. Said (AKA Captain Chaos) is an absolute pleasure to watch. McColm looked like he could slot right into our system, I'm looking forward to seeing more from him between now and May.
-
Same outlook as Hibs the other week. Physicality and brute force. We got wise and moved the ball quicker. Game over
-
Not sure Kilmarnock were by far the better team in the first 20 but surprised how well they done to begin with. Didn't see any of our players claiming offside for their goal and very sweet it was disallowed especially given who scored. Good to see us being a bit relentless and run up a score. Encouraged BjƶrgólfsĀson got an assist and looks he might offer something a bit different. Thought the laddie McColm looked quite assured in the short time he was on.

The gaffer

I was thinking it has played better than it looks the last couple of games. (Maybe just need to spray some green paint on it)
-
Not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but, itās certainly not cutting up and plays fast.
-
Iām hoping with no games at fir park until the rangers game that the groundsmen manage to get it back in good nic. Itās the worst Iāve seen it in a few years, weather hasnāt been great for it though.
-
They definitely have the look of the relegated. Some teams hover around the bottom, but still look like they have something to offer. Dundee are one, and as poor as St Mirren have been, you expect them to pull off a result when they need it. Kille and Livi looked doomed. Although I expect a very tough game at Livi next week, as it's never an easy place to play.
-
Spoilt for choice today from The Usual Suspects but I thought Priestman did and excellent Elliot Watt impersonation. Even Longelo, who had gone off the boil, seemed to get forward much more today and was a real pest down the left in the second half. Giving it to Priestman, who has a three-year contract with us, I am pleased to say.
-
Totally agree. Once we scored there was only going to be one winner. Killie were slow/lazy off the ball and lack quality. Their hoof ball, chase and kick everything in sight approach got the result they deserved. If your on a booking, dont dive in to tackles. What about Deas rugby tackle on JT not getting a yellow card. It seems ex pundit getting it easy when he has been found wanting. Killie are easily one of the poorest teams in the league.
-
I so miss the forum of a year ago where we thought everyone in the team should be shot on sight and the manager needed strung up from the floodlights Said nobody ever...
-
Can we please get an option for everyone
-
They were better for the first 20 mins or so, but I thought we picked it up after that. Better, of course, is relative, because they only had 1 shot on target over the 90 minutes.
