The managers going to have a selection headache when/if all the players are fit and available for selection. But it would be a good headache to have.

Moormann went downhill after yhe pass he overhit first half to manny. He just looked a nervous wreck but great recovery 2nd half after initially making hash of long ball

By miles the better team today. Played some really nice stuff and should have been 3 or 4 up by half time. The longer it went, I was worried it wouldnt go our way, so nice to get the break with the penalty. No idea what the St Mirren boy was thinking. If I have any criticism, the defence are still way too slow/negative with their passing. Hoping that will change as confidence improves, but too many times they dilly dally on the ball when an incisive pass would have opened St Mirren up. Longelo, Palmer -Houlden and Maswanhise were repeatedly ignored when fairly straight forward passes would have had them in. They also have to trust the midfield more with the bounce pass, as the little triangles we relied on last season were there today, but we didnt play them enough. That said, we did defend much better today. St Mirren only had 10 touches in our box and an xG of 0.2, so they did get that bit right. Great to see Oscar, Hendry & McGinn all get minutes. Overall, a good days work and should take a bitnof pressure of the squad and the manager.

Mcginn returning huge but I dont want to rush him back and risk another injury. Priestman massive today and been missed so much. Once lowry back that midfield will be so much stronger

Longello would be even better if moorman would give him the ball.

I thought Longelo was great today. Unstoppable in the first half and sent in some great crosses. Delighted to see Oscar back too. Said edges it for me, even if he should have scored that one in the first half. He offers that spark and the man is impossible to dispossess.

We need the same result against that Fanny Godwin’s mob next, hopefully now with Oscar back and I’d like to thk McGinn starting and adding a bit of solidity to the defence, I’m glad we managed 4 points last 2 games it shd have been 6 but hopefully we can become more difficult to score against and let’s start hitting the net more often, play down the left with Longo and we will score, forget the Sparrow n Mas comedy act on the right!

Great result today, 3pts well deserved as St Midden offered nothing, we should have been 3-0 up by 25minutes and that wouldn’t have flattered us, lost a bit of steam towards the middle of the second half but a stick on penalty for me from the Cooper. What is our fascination for attacking down the right when the best attacking player bus country mile stands all on his own on the left, the time we use him we get chances created…forget trying to get Mas to try n best players just get it to Longo and then Mas might get a cross box ball…simples Alfred please take note! ksnga offered nothing today which was disappointing and I agree with some posters that Thor deserves a run of starts to see his true potential, Seb reminds me at times of Big Ryan Bowman, ran about like a looney n offered nothing other than a lot, gotta give Thor a chance, he almost got the second with the header from 12inches off the ground. A decent performance, chances created but powder puff up front, the rot is stopped let’s use that confidence now to go on a mazy run of games!

Went with Said again, think he's adding a bit of consistency on top of the talent he has. Fadinger also had a good game, SPH put a shift in and I think that was the best I have seen JGR.

Today was our best performance since the first half an hour in Paisley in August. Game should have been put to bed by 3.15pm. Credit to all for keeping going and getting the result Had VAR not intervened and today had ended up a draw, or even worse, then the manager would have been copping some amount of flak on here tonight. But he can't be blamed for strikers who can't hit a horses erse with a banjo. Let's just take it and move forward

I was surprised how little St Mirren offered today. Early in the season it looked like they were trying to play some nice football but apparently they’ve given up on that. We looked a lot more relaxed and composed on the ball today and had several good moves but our finishing was woeful. Nice to get a clean sheet and 3 points. I think we can play as well as most teams in the league and should pick up a decent amount of points…..if……. We cut out the silly mistakes. Interestingly we didn’t make any silly mistakes today and came away with a clean sheet and 3 points.

Relieved to get the 3 points, maybe a break with the penalty? Haven't seen it back but fully deserved all the same. Thought we played well an there were signs of improvement again besides finishing. Great to see Priestman back, pretty much improved us immediately.

Thought Girdwood-Reich was excellent at the back and was harshly given a bit of stick for passing it back nearer the end of the game. Thought Manny was unplayable in the 1st half but dropped off in the 2nd half. My motm though was Fadinger who was excellent all game and controlled the midfield
