  1. Past hour
  2. If his contract expired May 26, and hes still at the club for us to loan out he must have signed an extension. Surely the player needs to agree to the loan, so he must have said yes, if hes really not happy about it then he needs to move on as he is not going to get regular game time at Fir park.
  3. He has not signed an extension...from what I can gather I dont think hes overly pleased at being loaned out
  4. Yup that's wrong. If it was correct he wouldn't be at the club. He signed a new deal
  5. It's still early days but the more I listen to him and see what we are building I think we have found a real gem ( not legend status yet). Players definitely look on board and great spirit but just the wee things you notice from him ( ie. Consoling vogt last night) Loving the AJ revolution and hope this could be a special season COYW
  6. Club website states his contract expires May 2026. Hope he's signed an extension otherwise he's gone.
  7. I thought he would really push for starting slot but midfield looking strong. Naysmith knows him so hopefully a full season really benefits him and us in long run
  8. Aye that's not on. These lads are wearing the jersey and trying their best. Really are some right wallopers out there
  9. Today
  10. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2026/09/03/olly-whyte-joins-ayr-united-on-loan/ Until the end of the season too.
  11. I was disgusted with the season ticket holders behind me when they were calling him Willy Wonka. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from so called supporters.
  12. Really good window for us strong squad to push on now & have a decent season
  13. So we are done and dusted now? Let’s get on with it now.
  14. Even more embarrassing for the Dundee Utd team clapping the 12 or so fans that were still left in the stand hurling abuse at them😁
  15. Exactly my thoughts at the time. Although they're not my favourite team, St Mirren under McLeish seem to be trying to reverse the Robinson hoofball tactics too.
  16. Surprised he said that given how much he drooled over our sexy football last season.
  17. That is a remarkable statistic which shows the importance of possession instead of coughing up the ball after a few passes/punts forward. I was disappointed to hear Peter Martin say on PLZ's football show that no-one in Scotland plays the way the rest of the continent do, when it was pretty obvious that's how JBA had got us playing from just about day one of last season.
  18. All anybody needs to know is that the premiership is set up and constituted to suit and pander to the needs of the ugly sisters, the other 10 teams dont matter. Change only happens if they both want it, or teams like Aberdeen vote with them.
  19. When we were in the First Division, there were 14 teams and you played each one 3 times. There used to be an argument the odd number of games gave some teams home advantage, athough they did try to balance it every season. Now we have a precedent in the Premiership that teams play an uneven number of games against certain teams there's less reason to argue against a similar 14 team format. Of course it will never happen any more than an 18 team league, because the TV companies demand 4 OF derbies per season.
  20. I don't understand how the 12 team league we have now is any better than an 18 team league. We play teams 3/4 times a season we realistically all work each other out by game 2/3. If we go to 18 it realistically encourages teams to try and play better football as their is less risk of relegation it should also in theory make bringing young players into the first team easier as their would be less risk of relegation and the 'meaningless games' would provide an opportunity to those players to have an exposure to first team football. It also should in theory make it easier for someone outside of Rangers and Celtic to win the league as they wouldn't be given 4 opportunities to beat them a season to claw back the gap.
  21. Guess who the ref was when we beat them 3 - 2 last time? Clue, it rhymes with Nevin Fancy. I get all the concerns about refs, Rangers VAR etc., but one positive of the style we play now is that we give refs less chance to penalise us. Moorman and Knight-Lebel didn't have to make a single tackle last night, for example. Of course, they can still stuff us by chalking off goals and VAR handballs - just not as often.
  22. I'll be disappointed if we didn't receive one derisory OF bid for one of our players today.
  23. The Diana-isation of society. Public displays of feelings and emotion all went downhill after Princess Di's car crash. Millenials and Gen-Z take some of the blame too. Not that I'm an miserable old Gen-Xer or anything. I'll bottle it up and let it kill me like a proper man.
  24. The old 10 team SPL was bad for football. Too many teams in the bottom half scrapping for survival at the expense of entertainment.
