  1. Past hour
  2. If we avoid the top two, I'd be happy with that.
  3. Stand to be corrected but my reading of UEFA is one of Copenhagen Helsinki Mostar Caernarfon or Tallin ( playing first round) Havnar From a group of 10 with the above 5 seeded and us one of 5 unseeded. But it’s early and I could well be wrong.
  4. Here we go!!! F.C. Copenhagen (DEN) HJK Helsinki (FIN) HŠK Zrinjski Mostar (BIH) Caernarfon Town FC (WAL) - FCI Levadia Tallinn (EST) Havnar Bóltfelag (FRO) One of these is our destination.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Agreed. I thanked Jens for reviving my memories of the football that the great Ancell Babes played. Great to see Just performing on the world stage. Unfortunately Willie Hunter never got the opportunity to show his.
  7. Judging by his dressing room speech post-Hibs, Jens clearly understood the significance of those reminiscences and comparisons.
  8. I'm old enough to see all three play and Willie Hunter comes out tops for his ability and length of service. But I agree Ally, Just reminds me very much of Vic Davidson too. Three very talented individuals.
  9. Exactly the words, re Willie, I said to him at POTY event. I’m sure he was wondering “What was that old ghit havering on about?” as my son led me away. But he was polite enough to nod kindly and, as if, understandingly when I was rambling on about Willie and the Ancell Babes. Maybe he was being sympathetic in case I was a dementia victim. Later on, bored Jens with same reminiscences. And he was similarly polite and appreciative.
  10. Him or Derek Adams.
  11. I'm probably a bit older than you and was going to do a comparison with Vic Davidson.
  12. For me, too young to have seen Willie Hunter, the comparison I have to make is Bobby Russell. Both look like a strong breeze would knock them over, have an excellent touch and can glide past people like they're not there...
  13. Willie Hunter was my dad's idol when he followed the well. Would have loved to seen him compare him to Just
  14. Hopefully he's on Sevco's shortlist.
  15. If we want to destroy the club, we can just invite Barmack to take over.
  16. Sounds like he'd burn us to the ground a long time before that.
  17. The more I hear about the guy, the more I'm strangely intrigued to see him get the job and basically burn Scottish football to the ground.
  18. Portuguese Gattuso the guy is a total rocket! If he is anywhere near the list I would be very very shocked.Reading about him i think man management which clearly was a key factor in our rise last season seems to be non existent in this guy. I honestly think we would go backwards with an appointment like this.
  19. Maybe it's just Jim Gannon in disguise ??
  20. Spot on: he reminded me of him too, the Knowtap Nijinsky 🤣. What an elegant and dangerous player he was. He died fairly recently so it's a pity he didn't live to see Eli.
  21. Elijah is the closest I have seen to Willie Hunter of Ancell Babes fame effortlessly drifting past lead footed opponents and scoring some sensational goals. Pity Willie is no longer around to see if he agreed with the comparison. I'm sure he would have.
  22. He also has history of making obscene gestures to opposition fans. Like he did in Denmark when in charge of Legia Warsaw for a European game. The guy comes across as emotionally unstable. Left one French Club after 23 days having not Managed a competitive game. Reported as 'Internal tensions'. Maybe the Scottish set up is not for him. I can already picture him having a friendly chat with John Beaton or Nick Walsh.
  23. In an awesome world from a banter perspective.
  24. Oh, he'll be taking notes. I have no doubt about that.
  25. He previously got fined and suspended for accusing referees of match fixing. In what world could he take a Motherwell team to Ibrox or Parkhead..?
