The window in England shuts at 19:00. I read that this year we're also closing at the same time. I’d take him back as a permanent move to see if we can improve him and sell him on in 2 years but a loan deal would be pointless unless Rangers are willing to give us some cash for our work.

While I don't think Rice is a good option (particularly not on loan) I would never close the door on a good young player who made a poor choice. Especially if they made that choice as a 15 year old.
