Come to think of it, theres a likeness in looks with MM and MR too

Selll JT for 4 Million amd give JBA 1 million
-
What would he get and where could he go after another season here? Although I suppose same question applies to him being at Toulouse.
-
I’d be really gutted if JBA does leave us but if he does go, I’d prefer it if he went to Toulouse rather than the pit belts. Rumours that the salary on offer at Toulouse is £1 million per year. If that’s true then he’d be foolish not to want to go there. It’s a sad fact of life for small clubs like ours that success has its down side too.
-
To be fair we knew when he joined that he didn’t have a good record of staying long at any of his previous clubs so it’s not a huge surprise but having watched his recent interviews post match and his chat to the players I did think that he might want to prove himself in Europe before moving on from us.
-
Now I know why Pep has left Man City.......

My daughter was a mascot in an end of season game with Butcher in charge. He was nowhere near the dressing room in the 10-15 mins leading up to kick off. He was at the dugout gabbing to the mascots parents and the photographers.
-
I had thought Malpas would have learned a lot from his time at Dundee Utd, but apparently not. Butcher was a good fit for the situation we found ourselves in, but never really rated him as a manager. Top bloke, though.
-
If we remember Davie Hay or Terry Butcher taking over, it's a different story. Rogers comes across well, but who really knows if he would keep us moving forward, or if he's even interested.
-
Hopeully he will have learned more from Jens than Malpas did from Butcher.
-
Know what you mean, still gives me the fear thinking about him but with this board I’d be happy to take the chance if they decide on Max.
-
numpty started following Tou lose Askou
- Today
-
Any time I think about an assistant manager taking over I remember Maurice Malpas and decide against it.
-
I think.ot all depends on what Jens wants. Hopefully the board can tempt him to stay with improved contract and transfer funds but realistically we can't compete with a club like toulouse financially. Fact fadinger signed extension makes me think maybe chance Jens could stay but we shall see
-
STV reporting we are in negotiations with Toulouse for JBA. If he goes do you think Max could step up? For me he’s got to be one of the contenders for the job full time. Would JBA take him to Toulouse? Other backroom staff? Feels like a big off season coming up to keep our momentum going. would also say I hope JBA realises he should stay here. sorry never saw this was on other topic
-
Hes like a Jens tribute act
-
Max Rogers?
-
Is the opportunity to get a large pay hike to live in the South of France really that appealing?* *yes
-
I'd need to care for it to be harsh 🤔😂
-
Yeah I think we all had a wee glimmer of hope he would stay but really we expected Jens to go. However pretty sure the board already had plans for this should this situation crop up i have nothing but faith in the club to get it right again.
-
Bit harsh, he was only sharing the story 🤪🤪
-
DOH!! I meant Whyte, sorry...Will amend
-
If MFC are in discussions with Toulouse can it be assumed the Club ie MFC have spoken to Jens to get his view on a potential move.
-
I did see stuff about Toulouse being interested in Jens but no mention that they had approached us. As mentioned though, we pretty much knew it would come. Might as well get it sorted out early as possible. Move to Toulouse or commit to Motherwell. However, perhaps he wants better offer than Toulouse and decide to stay here one more season. I know, ever the optimist! I hope the board might go above and beyond normal to keep Jens here 1 more season to give it our best shot in Europe. We only have 9 weeks till our first leg tie. Either way, as long as he doesn’t go to another Scottish club I can handle it.
-
The tweet might be new, but I thought the news about the approach was a few days old.

I think …. Hope… we do have a plan. When we’ve seen how sought after and praised Jens has been for the past 8 months really…. Surely they’ve thought we need to sort out a contingency plan. I’d hope that Jens may have played a part in this too and identify managers/coaches of a similar mindset to him. who knows
