Much better from hearts now
-
Hearts have been bloody awful. They look paralysed by pressure and they've spent those 45 mins blootering the ball as far away from their goal as they can.
-
Hearts are making rangers look good. They are playing terrible. I think they are too tense amd nervous.
-
It would have been time to get the Leonard Cohen LPs out the loft. Or descent into weremadness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qae25976UgA
- Today
-
I think regardless of their result today, our game is a banker for a draw.
-
East Kilbride will beat them
-
Sounds more like he is taking the cheap option in the hope SK's level is sufficient in League One. Can you imagine if we had been relegated and the first announcement was "Kettlewell Pens Extended Deal"?
-
Found his leval then ......1st division. Although he may well be punching above his weight.
-
Death wish? Surprised the owner is willing to bankroll him.
-
I'll opt for a Sevco win. That would dent Hearts' confidence before Saturday.
-
Ohhhh. MJC won't be happy with you talking like that about his big team.
-
Fuck Hearts
-
Kettlewell confirmed as permanent boss at Ross County.
-
Yep! Result has no direct effect on where we will finish. indirectly it Might affect either teams attitude in the last three games or injury/discipline might cause player to loss games
-
Be interesting to see what happens today. Doubt there's any 'right' result for us (though the Ibrox meltdown, should they lose, would be highly entertaining). The pressure will be on Hearts next week, whatever happens. A kicking match where they pick up a red card or two and some key game-out injuries would suit us fine, right enough.

The new handball rules were created to remove the interpretation of intent and any subjectivity from decision making. It was a reasonable idea as, of course, the only person who knows their intent is the player. It was a disaster of an implementation, however, and unlikely to ever be practical. So what we have now is a hybrid of soft unintentional penalties plus some situations where refs still need to assess intent.
-
Could you let collum know because that useless twat has no knowledge of the laws of the game.
-
Correct, if Hibs lose 1-0 to Falkirk then 2 3-0 wins for them and two 3-0 defeats for us takes it to goals scored.
-
In theory we could but thats extremely unlikely. For that to happen, Falkirk would need to win their 3 remaining games; we'd need to lose all 3 heavily; and Hibs would need to rack up large wins over us and Sevco. Its not going to happen.
-
Just watched it. Gollum admits they were wrong or gives some bullshit excuse in 3 or 4 of the reviews but as usual no accountability or we really need to be better. VAR really is a shit show a perfect storm of poor technology and incompetent officials with a "we dont give a feck attitude". Now they are blaming the glare from a plastic pitch, for not being able to draw the offside lines ffs, you really could not make this shit up.
-
We can’t finish sixth, so top 5 is assured.

Just for information Key Rules & Punishments (IFAB Laws of the Game)Definition: Deliberate handball is moving the hand/arm toward the ball or positioning them to make the body unnaturally larger (not justifiable by body movement). Restart: A direct free kick is awarded at the spot of the offense. A penalty kick is awarded if it occurs inside the defender's penalty area. Disciplinary Action (Cards) :Red Card: If a player denies a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity (DOGSO) by deliberately handling the ball, they are sent off. Yellow Card: If a player stops a promising attack (SPA) or handles the ball intentionally but without denying an obvious goal, they may be cautioned. No Card: Incidental handball that does not stop a promising attack or break a specific rule (like scoring directly with the hand) might result in only a free kick. Specific Scenarios Scoring with Hand/Arm: It is an automatic foul if a player scores directly from their hand/arm, or immediately after it touches their hand/arm, even if accidental.Defending Penalty Area: A defender who intentionally handles the ball to prevent a goal in the box receives a red card and a penalty is given.Goalkeeper: If a goalkeeper handles the ball outside their penalty area, they are subject to the same rules as other players (usually a yellow/red card and direct free kick) .Accidental Touch: If the ball touches a player's hand directly from their own head or body (e.g., a deflection off their knee), it is generally not considered a penalty offence.Note: The boundary for a handball offense is the bottom of the armpit.

I'm not doubting you. So, in the eyes of the SFA, intent is not relevant.

It's actually a misconception that a deliberate hand ball is an automatic yellow, it's only a yellow if it gains an advantage.
