  1. Past hour
  2. That’s exactly what I was thinking. The similarities are there…walked into a near impossible task, started off okay but the cracks starting to show and looking out of his depth.
  3. Tbf manager doesn’t need removed at this point everything ur suggesting there suggests he’s not on it though 😂 Rosenborg are a huge club but didn’t really smash it there, certainly questions to be asked
  4. Totally agree with many posters on here that our last few games since the United game have as always shown great possession but feck all attack or energy and have gifted opposition the points not out out of being outplayed just stupid decision making. For me today we lacked the energy, Hodge n Faddy forever turning back when there was lots of space in front to run into forcing the opposition to come out their solid shape, too slow, ponderous and no movement to give the ball holder options rather than going backwards. We need to be quicker, sharper and again put the fear into teams by our collective movement and pace, currently we look as if we are playing a Geriatrics 11 select. Oscars energy and passing is so missed and I’m hoping his return is soon! The forward line needs changed, Thor and Seb need a run together in the team, RCC offers nothing, Mas has lost his confidence, defence I feel Alfred needs to drop Sparrow, teams have targeted the right as he is no RB so he is the weak link, a natural RB is needed, SOD or Williams should be given a go at least until JK comes back LK should be in in place of GR, Polsen has his moments, (like Ward did last year for the first 10 games) but he is streets ahead of Connolly who gives me the hebee jeebies. We have a decent squad but AJ needs to find the balls to drop those that haven’t performed and give others their chance, we should be mid table this year, last year was special but we won’t be Jens2. Alfred has time but not unlimited, we need to when we get back from the break start picking up points and go on a run.
  5. Hearts have managed to replicate a fluke despite losing the core of their set up….. very early days but don’t get the impression this manager will last hopefully wrong obviously
  6. I’m very much at the same stage as the above posters saying “too early to be thinking about sacking the manager but at the same time getting increasingly concerned about him”. Sometimes you get that gut feeling about something and for me this is one of them.
  7. The time has now come for him to demonstrate his man management skills.
  8. Likewise , as you show we have options especially in the final 3rd its time to try them. Keep playing Maswanhise to try and keep his value up is killing us.
  9. Hodge gets a lot of the ball but not much output for the amount of possession he gets. I think hodge is a good player to have but more about seeing games out when we are ahead. I’m hoping Oscar is back in the team beside Fadinger soon. I’d like to see JKL in for JGR and Johnny K or SOD at right back. Earlier in the season we were shooting and crossing a lot. I’d like to see us get back to that but with PH or Thor in the middle.
  10. Just listened to his comments and they seem to be very much at odds with what folk are saying.
  11. No. It’s his job to save. Tick-tock.
  12. You might be right you may be wrong.... only time will tell , so would advocate sacking him now ?
  13. This stage last season no one expected us to finish 4th. I think expectations have went through the roof. Of course the last 2 games especially have been poor and no one can deny that but look across the whole league, every team been up and down. As said elsewhere and by myself previously AJ has not wanted to come in and change things quickly and upset a dressing room. However....we have 11 new players and he has been more than loyal to a few. I think you will see a different AJ once we are back. That is not being delusional, that is just my opinion. I like to be a glass half full guy but I also will criticise when required. COYW
  14. Agree re dropping both of them and have them on the bench . For me we lack energy or willingness to take on players and or move at at pace - it’s all quite easy to play against . I also think we have enough depth to be much stronger defence - SOD, knight-level and Williams could all come in. midfield - levit deserves a slot . Priestman will be a welcome return but personally think missing a trick by having Ollie Whyte on loan . He has a bit more physicality about him and I thought looked very decent . forward is tricky - perhaps Thor needs a chance and I’d be happy to see a pick n mix of several others to see how they fair.
  15. Garbage. The manager doesn’t know what he’s doing.
  16. We all want to see the same thing and being proved wrong about Motherwell is very often a real bonus.
  17. Nice one, enjoy. All about opinions. I don't mind being wrong in the long term, in fact I would take great satisfaction in it.
  18. A team and a manager that gel as well as ours did last year is always a fluke to some extent. That's why we all knew we just had to enjoy it while it lasted.
  19. Today
  20. who knows don't know enough about him to know what kind of character he is behind the scenes. However time will tell and if he is as you suggest he wont be long in being found out. However we are a good distance away from that judgement call right now. Anyway away to watch our old manager see if the pressure is still building on him in his game tonight.
  21. Herein lies my feelings thus far. I don't see that he has the rocket up the arse mentality. Cuddly managers like Klopp, Guardiola and to a degree Askou, have plenty of bite under the surface. Arteta, O'Neill, McInnes have some quite aggressive attitudes. We've got a Gray/Goodwin....and that will inevitably fail imo.
  22. I agree there were a number of negatives but it wasn't as bad as some are making out, well in my mind anyway. We made two mistakes and got punished. The final 3rd I totally agree we were very very ineffective today, but time has to be called on Maswanhise and RCC , suitable for the subs bench only.
  23. I get the impression he's been trying not upset the apple cart from JBA team, for those that are still with us and frankly we don't have the same players to play it exactly the same. I think he now has to step up and be his own man and put a rocket up the arse of some who look to be coasting.
  24. Ah I see! Yeh Facebook and Twitter feeds all full of trolls, fair enough. On this forum, we can have a sensible debate!
  25. I suggest you read twitter to see some saying the manager should be binned.
  26. Lots of good points here , agree with the majority - my frustration is the manager is the guy who could make the 7 changes you’ve outlined and hasn’t . if we can all see the issues , which we can re the players mentioned then so should the gaffer and make changes I found today a hard watch , I can’t remember worrying their keeper
