From The Scotsman: You can see the latter effort at 6:45 here.

I thought Hearts and Aberdeen fully tested our new expansive, attractive game and we came out with a draw and a win. I hope that on Sat we will continue on our improvement and come away with a solid victory. COYW

A win on Saturday would be massive for the teams confidence 3 points could see us up to 3rd depending on other results.
-
We certainly won’t fear them. We controlled large chunks of the game up north. Thelin looked a bit shell shocked in the interviews after the match. No doubt freaking out that he has us again next week and defeat will probably lose him his job.
-
Will help a lot if we are back to full strength for the semi. If we do make it to the final, I hope it is versus Rangers so that Welsh can play.
-
I don’t give a feck if LM’s new manager and club throw him in the deep end or easing him in gently cause he’s now an ex player and I believe that he’ll take whatever happens in his stride and that in the next few years he’ll be playing in a top European league with a top team.

A good draw for us as its its a tough but winnable tie. Given that the gate receipts are shared, I doubt if the draw will make much difference. Had Sevco and Celtic been kept apart, neither tie would have been anywhere near a sell out. As it is, the OF game will be a guaranteed sell out. Almost certainly, the Police will allocate us the east side of the stadium. Anything else would be ridiculous.

Diddy's United v The Ugly Sisters. Its the rules. I look forward to St Mirren fans supporting us against whoever we get in the final! 😉
-
Completely agree imagine if St Mirren win 2 major trophies in the last 15 years No way would I want that. A team we wouldn't have seen in our way over the last 30 years. Ours will be a real hard tie to win St Mirren are no mugs

I met Robbie Neilsons mum and dad on the bus way back into Aberdeen from the game. They were honestly super lovely and happy that we won. (they weren't at the game), just there for the weekend
-
Absolutely this

I need to give a shout out to Sods - a player I've given a lot of stick too last year I was pleased he was playing on Saturday and not put a foot wrong this season Well done my man

Fair enough.

I do. That was probably the second worst for me. But Airdrie was the worst for a few reasons for me. Partly because it was the first semi final I had been to and, naively, expected us to win (even more when it went to a replay). Partly because Airdrie were genuine local rivals that season. Partly because of the Stuart Rennie steps debacle that cost us the game.
-
You been hacked? My jokes make you chuckle? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Do you also include 1976 in that , I think that was worse than airdrie especially the circumstances involved. Jrp Gordon you were a cheating bastard.
-
How come Celtic always get the easy draw?🤣
-
If Carlsberg did semis....GIRU that wee goblin, send him and his team back to methadoneland with Sweet FA.
-
With the possible exception of the following year when JPR Gordon gave Rangers a penalty when fat Derek tripped over his own feet about 20 yards from the box. If we had beaten Airdrie we would have got the green scum in the final, a dreadful Hearts team awaited us the next year, I suspect a cup win would have been more likely the second year. Plus that team really deserved to win something. But aye, I know what you mean.
-
So do your jokes……😜 Yeah absolutely, get this Semi Final won and look forward to a pre-Christmas league cup final.
-
Let's no bother playing it then...ffs
-
If Saturday 1st then that will be 29 years since Mrs grizzly and I had our first date, I tentatively broke news to her and got reply I expected. 'Is it? I wouldn't have known' Boom!! Will get tickets no probs now 🤣🤣🤣
-
Yer post's do make me chuckle and frustrate me at same time! 🤣🤣 let's just hope we can do the business in semi final
-
Absolutely 💯 , nothing to fear in this game St Mirren home or away down the years has always proved to be a tough game , but no reason why we can't win this game
-
I’d be hoping we get the North Stand like we did in the Aberdeen semi. At least we can get a decent view of the game rather than stuck miles away behind the goals
