  1. Past hour
  2. But but but …… they should be winning the champions league every single year…..
  3. 90 minutes of decent football without the cutting edge, then a few minutes of luck and chaos to win it at the end. Some game, though the lack of a competent centre forward is a real concern. Hopefully that penalty sparks him into finally proving he’s not shite.
  4. Who was the Aberdeen cheerleader next to Alan Hutton, I know the face but cant put a name to it?
  5. Absolutely nothing to fear. I’ve watched a few of their games this season and they have been rotten. Their new winger is decent but apart from that their main performers clearly do not want to be there. ,Maeda, Hatate etc looks in the huff. pair that with their toxic support and their tough midweek match and the ridiculous 32mins of silence thing they will be doing against us….. I honestly think we have a chance to turn them over.
  6. Today
  7. Will need to sharpen up a wee bit at the back. A more clinical team could have had a couple against us last night. But they are there for the taking, especially with their European games in the mix. A good test for the boys to see where they are to be honest.
  8. Don’t usually post the post match comments but I will this time.
  9. They're not as good as they were last year, but will still be a very tough game. Just stick to the plan and see what happens. The way the Celtic fans are right now, an early goal for us could turn the crowd.
  10. Can we have two wins in row, or our first defeat? Will Stama score again and we win? COYW
  11. Yesterday
  12. Great result today and loved fact we didn't panic and stuck to principles. Need more cutting edge but job done and delighted for Stama
  13. Because they are decent managers with something to offer despite all the horseshit we have had to read in this forum about all three of them
  14. Enjoyed that again tonight, just proves with the style we play patience is a virtue. Thought Aberdeen had best chances first half but thought we dominated the second half. Anyone hear what the crowd wad tonight.
  15. Interesting stat. 3 previous Mwell managers teams all won today. Alexanderat at Bradford , Robinson still working for the right to play football at st mirren and count Kettlewell at Killie.
  16. I think it’s a good evening to go out for a wee drink here. Motherwell win plus Ryder cup team handing out a lesson in how to play golf!!!
  17. Fab win tonight. Great to be there to see it
  18. A well deserved win in the end. First half was pretty even, but Aberdeen looked the more likely to score. Second half, Motherwell totally in control without making that dominance count until the dying minutes of added on time. Decent peperformances all over the pitch with special mention to SOD who was once again absolutely solid and didn't a foot wrong. What a transformation in his contribution since the arrival of JBA. Elliot was excellent in midfield, Fadinger too gave his usual classy performance. At the back, both Welsh and Gordon repelled everything that came at them. Longelo did his usual maurauding up the left and was a constant threat. He also showed some blistering pace to get back to thwart an Aberdeen chance in the 2nd half. We still have problems at the top end though. Said, Maswanhise and Stamatelopolous put in a lot of effort, but we're not quite on it today. Final ball and finishing need work. If we can get this part of the game right, this will be a season to remember. Well done to everyone. Three points in the bag. Not before time. Edit to mention that Ward did everything he was asked to do. Another clean sheet.
  19. Been a long time critic of Stephen O'Donnell, but this season we've seen a side of him I didn't think existed. All credit to him and another really good performance today.
  20. O'Donnell had one header, under Pressure in the first half, back to Ward that was excellent
  21. Is it first time well has had 2 Australian scorers in a match? Loved JK interview after saying it was a bit of magic.
  22. Went for Welsh. He was solid. I didn't think we were particularly good today, but the team still put a shift in, and kept their nerve in the latter stages, which was especially important with the lack of bench reinforcements that we have right now. However, we wouldn't have had the chance to win it if Lazetic had taken that chance, and a lot of that goes down to Welsh, who didn't give up and recovered well enough to put him off.
