Not the worst of draws, hope it’s Morton and Peterhead at home. I’m pretty sure there’s no train station in Peterhead?
-
Hope its Morton at home, Cappielow is a depressing hovel.
-
Morton Stenhousemuir Peterhead Clyde If previous years are anything to go by, it'll be Morton and Peterhead at home, and away to Stenhousemuir and Clyde
-
They all need to leave the ones out of contract and players like Balmer and such need to be punted out on a season loan if we can. We need more pace and width this was a big issue last season you keep the same then you get the same results. We have enough retained it's time to add new not stick with the old.
-
Like St Mirren aka wee well. Worked out OK for them.
-
He was fine going forward but defensively very shaky, positional sense all over the place.
-
The clubs mentioned have shirts with one solid colour, so much harder to stray from their traditional designs.
-
Howdy pal !!!, I don't dislike the guy. I just don't rate him. Think we can do a lot better in that position
-
I’m taking about the new Board and the new Chairman’s plea to fans. The previous Board never listened to the fans and look where that got them. I also imagine it was only a handful of fans and the compliant media calling for Wright to get the gig a few years ago.
-
I just mean I loved his enthusiasm. Seddon for me. Apart from putting in 2 decent crosses Thompson hasn't impressed me
- Today
-
We are obviously short of a skilled arm wavers and pointers for the middle of the park as Davor isnt on the list.
-
I detest any Motherwell strip with white shorts.
-
I didn’t really get the dislike of Thompson. I thought he was doing a good job for us.
-
In a choice between Seddon or Thompson, Thompson should be 3rd on the list.
-
See Robbie neilson touting himself, not the worst and plenty experience, have him before broon etc
-
As we dont really have to change due to colour clash that often why dont we do Home Strip - traditional with hoop Away Strip - Claret and Amber stripes 3rd Strip - All one colour.
-
No sure what uou mean by showed " a lot of love" and he's not suited for scottish professional football , so hasn't been close to great. Thompson, again, I don't mind, but if it's between him and seddon, I'd probably go for seddon
-
Maybe SK will swoop for our out of contract ones and solve our problem for us
-
Don't mind paton, if davor gets a new deal, I despair and relegation beckons( I'm not being recruited to sell season tickets this year gor some reason)
-
21 on list all under contract. It's the ones being discussed that we need to watch. Made my opinions clear before but no way should Thompson get a deal. Also davor been great and showed lot of love to club but time to move on.
-
I dont disagree with any of that and if Casey moves on I wont be devestated. But there is always a risk with new signings. Moving Mugabi on and getting Balmer and Gordon in didnt stop us losing goals. Sometimes a known quantity you can coach to improve isnt the worst option. (I also get Casey has been here a while now and still switches off). Blaney is gone. But Id rather move Balmer on than Casey. Albeit that is a more difficult thing to do when one is under contract and the other looks like he wants to leave.
-
Here's hoping. Seddon, Casey and, at a push, Ebiye are the only ones we should be considering keeping on.
-
If the Board listened to the fans, we'd still be in the Championship after Tommy Wright was hired a couple of vacancies ago.
-
No thanks. We need to rebuild that central defence with players that don't keep drifting out of position, don't keep losing their man and don't keep giving the ball away. Giving 100% is the bare minimum I expect from anyone in the squad.
-
Yep. If the new Chairman’s message is for fans to ‘stick with the club’ then perhaps he should listen to the fans desire to cut the bloated squad accumulated by Kettlewell and the previous Board.
