Ive seen plenty hit the first man or go flying over his head. Not seen too many whizz across the 6 yard line waiting for the tap in. Its the very thing that was remarkable about Hendry's goal in the semi final. The fact that it was Sparrow that delivered it might say something. -
Three games in a week fukd us. We can't be expected to play 3 games with the majority of possession in a week and expect to be anything but jaded. It showed in the team as a whole and some individual performances were well below what we have come to expect. Onwards n upwards.
-
It just felt like 4-0 😬
-
It is a mystery cos I am sure we scored 🤣🤣
-
I'm sure we will and I'm sure we won't when we can't defend.
-
My thoughts exactly , watched it , and St Mirren played exactly the same way as they did against us and Hibs contained them without breaking sweat. The so called Steven Robinson masterclass that never was.

Just watched the tactical masterclass that was Steven Robinson. St Mirren played exactly the same way against Hibs as they did against us , humped 3-0. Infuriating to see how easily contained them. -
Because the Scottish media, SFA, SPFL and any oither organisation connected to football are only interested in the ugly sisters and constantly pander to them to the detriment of every other club in Scotland. And as the premiership voting rules require an 11-1 vote to change anything nothing will ever happen as they both vote to maintain their own self interests. Scottish football would be a much better environment without the both of them and the bigoted nonsense they both spout, rant over.

How that St Mirren team beat us 4-0 last week is a mystery. They were utter gash against Hibs there.
-
no
-
Hibees doing what we never got close to achieving last week
-
Is that not the dude that sang Ice Ice Baby? 🤣🤣
-
There is chat about tickets being sold at the booth at the ground.
-
We should be looking to win this game. All the draw chat is vanilla bollox.
-
Again, a draw here might be best for us with both teams dropping 2 points.
-
Aye St Mirren to take something v Hibs would be goos as well
-
Good to see Falkirk drop a couple of points. Good for us if we can take care of our stuff.
-
Good post that echoes my own thoughts. A slow build up has been a feature of several games now; none moreso than against Falkirk and St Mirren. Typically, when opposition mount an attack, which breaks down, we start a counter attack as they race back but dither on the ball and in doing so miss that quick killer pass to the likes of Just, Manwhanise or Said who are racing into space. By the time they receive it, they are covered by 2 men. The ball is then recycled back and walking football is resumed. As you say, its not a bad game plan but isn't being executed properly. Will it ever be? Who knows.
-
True. Our final ball is often lacking but that’s also because the man up top isn’t making the right moves or creating space.
-
Disagree, there's been plenty cutbacks and stam hasn't been there.

You do have a valid point and it may be that the learning curve for that is a bit longer, to find that balance between being patient and retaining possession versus taking the risk in the final third. Having said that we have scored several goals where we have transitioned quickly from defense onto attack and scored. Dundee Utd game being a prime example with the two goals we scored. Also, I do think we have seen us start to use longer passes more often but not with big success rate. To your general point though, we do have to find the killer/penetrating pass more often. Is that due to lack of movement up front or midfield slow to see opportunities or deciding not to risk loosing possession? Hopefully we will continue to improve in areas as required to help us win more games.
