  1. Past hour
  2. Pretty sure he actually was in our academy setup at one point. Remember seeing the name at that time...
  3. I noticed there is a footballer called Liam Motherwell who is currently without club. Come on, give him a contract!
  4. Today
  5. Posted on his Instagram which the club re-shared saying something along the lines of "Excited for what the future holds" Obviously could stay but from that sounds like he's offski
  6. Don’t know if there is anyone from the club or clubs history sure I read there was plans to invest near the Davie Cooper stand - https://www.mctears.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-davie-cooper-1956---1995/?lot=375891&so=0&st=&sto=0&au=1791&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=96&pn=1&g=1# DAVIE COOPER (1956 - 1995) MOTHERWELL FOOTBALL CLUB JERSEY, SEASON 1990-91 claret and amber Admiral jersey with embroidered badge and Ian Skelly sponsor logo, match worn in the lead up to Motherwell's Scottish Cup Final victory over Dundee United in 1991, following a semi final replay victory (4-2) against Celtic. Davie Cooper (1956-1995) joined Glasgow Rangers Football Club in 1977, a £100,000 transfer from Clydebank. Cooper went on to make 376 appearances for the club. He moved to Motherwell in 1989 where he formed part of Scottish Cup winning squad in 1991. He made 157 appearances for the club. Cooper then returned to Clydebank in 1993. He tragically died in 1995 aged only 39. Cooper is remembered as one of the most significant players in the histories of Clydebank, Rangers and Motherwell football clubs. He was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame in 2000, Clydebank's in 2008 and Motherwell's in 2020. He is remembered as one of the most significant players in the history of Motherwell, Rangers and Clydebank.
  7. I rate Sparrow, he's certainly been one (if not the best) signings of the season. Glad to have him around for next season. Halliday has been decent , had we not had so many injuries I don't think he'd have had player of the year. Also benefits from Wimmer v's SK's formations.
  8. A suggestion, no more, on P & B that Davor is leaving us. If true, that would be no surprise. Dundee Courier quote "McGhee was one of eight players offered a contract extension last autumn but is expected to join Motherwell at the end of his deal."
  9. From Macron teamwear Charon
  10. Nothing like it, but apart from that, OK.
  11. Yesterday
  12. I'm surprised Tom Sparrow flies so below the radar - 31 appearances this season and busts a gut in every one He's popped up with a few goals too!
  13. Definete fair choice , consistent performer in general. And there wasn't too many in the current squad
  14. I don't think the pre contracts are strong enough to need any clauses, they've been broken before. Ketsbaias agent is really putting in the work.
  15. Up there with the ‘pay as you play’ theorists on here.
  16. Exactly, I like Wimmer and excited to see how we shape up next season
  17. Hard to argue with, he hardly missed a game all season, scored a few goals, so a decent choice among a distinct lack of contenders tbh.
  18. The Usual list of failed managers that gets rolled out every time there is a vacancy. We bucked the trend a bit by bringing Wimmer in, more clubs should do the same.
  19. It's almost copy and paste from when we we were looking for a manager
  20. Yeah hadn't included Ross or Wells in that number but if you do it's 20 + the 3 I think will get offered deals that's 23. Not leaving much room to bring in players initially. Can actually see Luca Ross getting used as a Wing Back in this formation and Wells might get minutes in the 2 positions behind the striker in the current formation. As I've said earlier on this I'd be trying to shift Koutrombis, SOD, Nicholson, Stuperavic and obviously we'll sell Miller for a decent fee. We need to add pace and power to our squad in all areas to play at the intensity the manager wants. This summer we probably need to look at adding 7/8 Players for me: 2 CBs, a LWB, 2 CMs , 2 Forwards
  21. "Former Scotland midfielder Shaun Maloney is strong favourite to take over as Dundee manager, but Neil Lennon, Stuart Kettlewell and former Dundee players Temuri Ketsbaia, Mark Fotheringham, Darren O'Dea and Charlie Adam could also be considered." From the BBC this morning.
  22. Or Kettlewell ends up at Dundee!. Probably not
  23. Unless the pre-contract contains a "change of manager" provision, presumably.
  24. Go on, be a devil. Change of manager counts for nothing.
  25. I forgot about Nicholson. If we can keep I’m injury free for a decent amount of time, he’s a good player to have.
  26. I see a few "by mutual consent" in the futures of some of those names.
