You are correct. I think I inferred that by saying “unseeded draw” but yes, a knockout competition ie the old European cup and as you say, also addresses complaints from players about too many games.
-
Champions League shouldn't even be a league. That was another protectonist demand from the wealthy clubs who didn't want the risk of being knocked out in an early round of a proper cup competition. And then they complain about too many games in a season before jetting off to Thailand to play a few more.

Just goes to show that on a level financial basis the old firm are no better than any other team. Which also goes for every other league in the world. The more money you have the better your chance of success. So All this “we are better than you” shite, really translates to “we have more money than you” and i do believe this is exactly what the old firm say with regards to European competitions. However, UEFA and FIFA, continue to support actions to make the rich teams richer and the “poor” teams poorer thereby actively reducing competitiveness and ability for poor teams to attain enough financial opportunity to reach a competitive level. Champions league should be only champion from each country with an unseeded draw. Likewise Europa league should be like old cup winners cup and then have conference league for other teams.

Lennon Miller's dad may have done it for free though?

Hugh Fuckin' Keevans..........I believe Rangers will win by...........a margin.....a margin that make the return at Fir Park academic or at least a comfortable 90 mins for Rangers. 😂😁🤣

Is he?

"So Cammy. On a scale from one to Marvin Johnson, just how bad was that keeper's mistake?"

There's a few english managers that could be good, including Buckingham, but there's also a bunch of managerial vacancies in the EFL that they're all linked with, so we may have to see how that shakes out. Did Ian Evatt apply last time, or was his name just thrown out by someone on here? Saw an article with John Terry lamenting about his unsuccessful efforts to secure a manager job, maybe he could do a job here? He's obviously remembered fondly for his cup winning exploits with us in '91.

More interesting this , compare it to the champions league final. Prefer the Well videos Bellshill Athletic away on the 5th of July anyone?
-
Wonder how much money we've spunked on this guy to simply cut the players hair. Good riddance.

The gasbagging was tremendous
-
Miller to PSG?
-
I remember him as a tiny wee lad at Braidhurst in the seventies. He didn't half grow.
-
Jack Daniels had a great few nights back in the day . The Well v Celtic game when Skippy scored those two goals was a good night Other one despite being gubbed 5-1 by Rangers in the 2005 final in the same season there was one guy changing the lyrics to a Bryan Adams song Summer of 69 with the lyrics Summer of 91 😄

I don't think I'd be expecting the gegenpress from him. I'd probably describe him a bit more of a pragmatic manager who can get results but can change or adjust things. I may have had more time on my hands than id care to admit so been looking at different highlights and profiles of different managers without a club.
-
Does he like a high intensity press and high goal shoots? 😍😍😍
-
Gonna throw a name out there curious what others think but Des Buckingham could be a good option for us. He did well with New Zealand's under 23s and at Mumbai and got Oxford into the championship. He's a tracker record for working with youth and been relatively successful everywhere he's been. Wondered if anyone else had some thoughts about him?
-
Might as well get some practice on the plastic before the league starts.
-
Just saw that, can't help but feel we missed out when we had the chance but hey ho

Im up near the bar 😆

Being too young to remember the last cup (born 91) this was by far the best football day I've had. Keeping those scum down against the odds (jesus we were bad that season) beats anything ive seen us achive. The partying in JD's afterwards is up there with one of the best night's ive had. 4 day hangover and having to call in work sick, worth it.

I was in century for that sing song, wasn't on tables though. I can't reach that high up 🤣

Mitchell Van Der Gaag has just been appointed manager at Zurich so he can now be ruled out.

And part of our glorious First Division winning team in the 1984/85 season.

Imrie must still be laughing when he sees how much he managed to upset some 'Well fans. Exactly the reaction he was looking for with his antics.
