  1. Past hour
  2. We're pulling Germans out of a hat sonthe papers don't have to. But on top of my John Terry suggestion, the English league jobs are getting filled and Ian Evatt and Des Buckingham are still available.
  3. Someone suggested that if we're pulling random Germans out of a hat Christian Titz must be a good shout as he likes to play with two up front.🫣 A Titz and Koc dream team😁. Imagine the fun the daily rags could have with that.
  4. Today
  5. Prefers a 3-4-3 formation apparently https://totalfootballanalysis.com/head-coach-analysis/thomas-worle-ulm-202425-tactical-analysis-tactics
  6. The name doing the rounds is Thomas Wörle. Completely pulled out of thin air on P&B, but I want to see I'd the papers puck up on it anyway. Comes from the Ralf Ragnig gegenpress school like wimmer
  7. Better they take time to get the right man in than make a quick hire like Maurice Malpas or Stevie Hammell.
  8. Did Jurgen Klopp ever get a new club? 😂
  9. Who knows, perhaps Wimmer gave them a few names before he left?
  10. If you rush things you end up with the likes of Presley, Kettlewell, Naismith, Docherty etc, good to see we are taking our time as this appointment is massive. We need stability for a few season to allow whoever comes in to build a team. Another out of the blue appointment like Wimmer would be ideal, fresh outlook and ideas etc as opposed to the usual process of recycling failed managers we are used to.
  11. If we get someone in post by the middle or end of next week that would fit in nicely with pre season starting the following week. We'll probably hear nothing until an appointment is made and thats how it should be. I would doubt if Tony Doc will be anywhere near a short list, if indeed there is one.
  12. I'd have gone for your design. A nice compromise between detail and not being overly fussy.
  13. It took 3 weeks to get wimmer in place. Not anywhere near the time to panic. I'd argue that there's more chance of getting a Tony Doc if we rush things.
  14. We really need to get our ar5e in gear and get a manager in. I get the feeling, the longer we leave it the more likely we’ll get Tony Doc.
  15. I don’t know why likes of Newcastle keep getting referenced as not changing their kit. the number of black stripes on home kit changed every year from 2020 as has the extra trim, inc colour variants. Celtic also have wild variety of bizarre takes on hoops in recent years. Whether we agree or not it’s the nature of commercial income these days. I just wish we’d keep the same manager for at least the length of time a kit is on sale
  16. All I'd say is if we have the same template of a home strip every year, just with a mildly different trim or sponsor, then i'd certainly end up buying less of them. Anyone know when the away strip is out??
  17. I don't normally laugh at your jokes but this made me chuckle 😆 😄 🤣
  18. That's smart too.
  19. Totally agree, I've never understood why we need to change the strip every season or two, its unecessary nonsense. Why can't we just find a design, in the club colours and keep it as do Celtic, Newcastle, etc who had had the same basic design forever. For me if I had a choice between the hoop or the stripes, I'd pick stripes as per the shirt we wore in the mid 1920's that was a cracker.
  20. I'd say it was also too fussy. Doesn't need all those extra fine pinstripes. Designers these can't help themselves these days. Just because technology makes it easy and possible to keep adding things, doesn't mean you should.
  21. Thats a far superior kit in every way 🧡❤️🧡
  22. I wasn't far away
  23. Agree completely and with MJC's comments above. It's far too fussy and busy and a horizontal band and verical pinstripe just don't work, even before we get on to The Shorts Question. Our "Theo Bair" year jersey was fine imo and should be our basic template. If the likes of Newcastle United can keep their stripes for a century without needless experiment why not us? We can do that with the other two strips each year. The hoop is such a distinctive feature it's a pity the club don't seem to value it as a "brand". It was used for sixty years until about 1968 and we won the league, cup and league cup wearing it. Oh, well, maybe next year, if I'm still around.
  24. Kettlewells a big enough comedian. Killie fans will see that when his team plays.
  25. Yesterday
  26. I wouldn't worry, you want to hear the language she uses at me 🤣🤣🤣
  27. Was chatting about this strip with my brother and he said it looks like the 2019/20 kit with the stripes reversed.
  28. I literally just shat my breeks there. Went on the BBC sport Scotland web page and right next to the 'Pressley is new Dundee manager', there was a headline saying 'McGhee joins Motherwell'. Took me a minute and a fair bit of colon tightening until I remembered.........
