Probably repeating myself but I am still behind AJ........HOWEVER......he has to get square pegs in square holes. Cant comment today but sparrow should be nowhere near right back and how Knight-Lebel not featuring i have no idea. And sorry but the one bad Influence is Maswanhise and if he isn't interested then get him out that team and if his pals not happy they can go also. If Maswanhise not happy and wants to leave then maybe he should start pulling weight and maybe that gets him noticed. I just hate the atmosphere just now and I really feel for AJ but also he needs to get line-up correct. At same time is Rogers helping him or like JT given up and doing everything to ge5 him sacked. Time will tell. I just want 3pts on Wednesday COYW

Very well said sir

Just my opinion but £700k for ward was an absolute great bit of business

Not sure about that. If rumours are circulating its not unreasonable to discuss them on this forum. Some details, of course, should be left out. Its important though to treat them as rumours and not facts. Alfred seems a decent sort and you do feel for him. We want him and the team to succeed. However, sometimes in life things don't work out. That is life. There is a whole range of opinions in our support, and its not unreasonable for supporters to express their emotions when things go badly wrong like losing 6 consecutive games. As long as we avoid abuse. Apathy is our enemy. Football is an emotional game.

Kanga was excellent when he came on - it enabled Longelo, Hodge and Kanga all to cause issues - which we should have scored from. It needs 3 of them the wingback, midfield and attack and with the talent of Kanga and Longelo really promising. This is something that we should leverage in coming game.s On the right we need something similar - it should really be JK, Fadinger and Said.
-
Sooner Maswanhise goes the better, hindsight a great thing but should have punted him in January

Hola!! I haven't hidden my allegiances and I am still behind AJ. I am a fair lad and totally respect everyone's opinions. I dont think we are far away and basic errors killing us and yes AJ needs to start playing players in correct positions and grow a pair and get the bad apples out the team....one obvious candidate stands out. I don't think AJ has had a say in the signings apart from Kanga so that's down to nick daws again. For those that hate AJ , who do we bring in? If we go left field they will look at us and say 'so I have 2 months or i am out a job', just my view.......ohhhhh jeez ...hold on.........ehhhhhh....dos mojitos pour favor 🤣🤣

Said, tried to make things happen

Agreed. I didn't agree with the subs at the time. Maswanhise had to be hooked. However, Kanga working on the left did make a huge difference.
-
6 game losing streak - fist in +20 years. 14 goals conceded - 3 scored . Today was one our better performances from those 6 games, yes we lost. Players should also take a level of accountability, yes we've had some injuries but bottom line is the buck stops with the manager.

I’ve not bought into Kanga at all, too lightweight for the league but today thought he added a bit hibs for example getting beat off celtic, Hanlon up front ( now that could be seen as ridiculous but at least u can see the thought process ) us?
-
He's been brutal - I thought today when Kanga and Thor (who was awful) came on they'd take Maswanhise off and put Seb more to the right as at least he was working them. Sad to see his absolute decline which lets be honest has been for all of 2026 - he for me wouldn't start again for several weeks and even as sub I'd want to see an impact.
-
Not likeminded like everyone else he’s saying if we don’t pick up decent points from the next 2 he’s got to go
-
I think that the thought might have been that Sparrow keeps going backwards while O'Donnell pushes the team forward with his passing. That would have given us a threat from the right, as well as the Kanga, Longelo threat from the left. It seemed like a positive move to me. Unfortunately, it didn't work due to an error that led to the game being over.

Wasn’t there today because of the weather From the tv there was more “wallopers” than not….. we’ll see come the end of next week 👍
- Today

Maswanhise is hiding in games. He runs about in spaces where he is not expecting to influence the game in any way. He needs to be dropped.
-
I think that Hodge was one of our best players today. He was effective at disrupting Hearts play and was tidy on the ball too.

The gaffer said

We performed reasonably well BUT this was against a tired Hearts team who’ve played in Europe , had some injuries and struggled to win away . we gave away 2 soft goals we missed several opportunities so after losing 5 games it was a must win game - we didn’t and at no point today did I think we were going to win . 6 straight losses - several against teams who’ve struggled - the writing for me is beyond being on the wall
-
Today was also a strange one for me. I’ve not been keen on Alfred from the outset and I’ve felt a sacking has been inevitable since the Aberdeen capitulation and lack of response at Dens. Today however, I did see signs of encouragement in our play and there was little evidence of the rumoured unrest being reflected on the park. Encouraging signs need to be converted into points though, immediately. If we are 8 losses in a row this time next week, he’ll be gone. Over and above the managers’ suitability for the role, Kyrk and Caldwell must be questioning the summer recruitment. All three centre halves are significant downgrades on what we had before and the centre forward position remains unresolved.
-
Today I thought the performance was much better, particularly in the 2nd half, where had we a striker that was more composed I think we would have taken all 3 points, Hearts for me offered nothing other than clinical finishes in the 2 occasions. WhenI heard Faddy, JK and Lowry were missing and Mas was playing ahead of Kanga I knew we were a 10 man team today, what AJ sees in Mas ahead of Kanga who when he came on linked really well with Longo I just don’t know, Mas offers nothing, he hides behind his defender, never anticipates or gambles, he’s taking a wage and doing nothing. Is it time to part company with AJ? Not just yet, the next 2 games are must wins, if we don’t win then yes it is then time for a new manager, positives today were creation in the 2nd half but recruitment of a striker in the summer was always key and Daws n the team failed, we are toothless up front and that will haunt us until we get someone who actually wants to score. Next 2 games are AJ’s make or break.

The Kanga change made a lot of difference to the way we played. Hodge in the middle helped him too, looked much better. Would have preferred to see the Longelo/Kanga combo with Palmer-Houlden in the middle though. And on another note, fucking Irons repeatedly saying 'Palmer-Holding' proper grinds my fuckin' gears.
-
Much to my surprise, I enjoyed elements of our performance today. The combination play of Longelo and Kanga, supported by Hodge looking more comfortable in the middle, was good to watch. If we had a half decent centre forward, we’d have got a least a point today.
