And this is the man that left club due to 'personal abuse', sums him up.
-
Maybe they will, but they could just as easily stipulate in the loan contract that he cant play in the cup, they dont need to be sneaky about it. I think its as simple as they had a deadline of Jan 14th to recall him, or we'd have him for the season, while the window is open until Feb 2nd. So it makes sense to call him back so that they have all options available to them, knowing they can loan him out on deadline day if needed.
-
They may well do, but it wouldn't make much sense. He couldn't play against them in the cup either way.

I’m never sure who has final say in these matters if it’s club or player. Does it depend on contract wording, or Is it always the player who decides if they want to go along with what club wants or can club just tell them, “we’re still paying your wages (or part of them) so you are going on loan to XYZ” or they can tell player they are being transferred, although i would think, with respect to being sold, the player could decline or at least demand the wages for rest of his contract?
-
Last 5 games he scored 8. Stats for the season seem to be played 29 scored 15. Suggests maybe he is a player whose role is to hold the ball up the field and allow midfield runners like Said Just and TM to run beyond. Dont know much about the level he was playing at but the addition of players is always to be welcomed. Hopefully they can get it over the line if it helps JBA and the master plan.

I bet they’ll play him against Auchinleck and then punt him back to us so he’s cup tied.
-
Not if they're selling him. If they punt him back out on loan, maybe.
-
Have you ever thought about being a VAR operator?
-
He'll end up at Aberdeen or Hibs
-
Who cares if it's off side or not. It didn't affect us.
-
Does anyone know how many tickets we've sold so far? It would be great to hit the 5,000 mark.
-
The goal he scores after the opposition goalkeeper is caught upfield, around 2 minutes 30 seconds in, looks offside to me.
-
That's a strange show reel for a striker. First two and half minutes showing goals scored. The next 15 minutes showing no goals scored.

Any official announcement on the forward signing?
-
Gutted for him. Football with a purpose
-
Or he's trying to get sacked so Aberdeen can get him for free. Losing a team that played with 10 men for 75 minutes definitely feels like a relegation battle looming.
-
That st Mirren cup defeat really annoying me now. They are utter shite
-
Robinson ruling himself out of the Aberdeen job, 2-0 down against a 10 man Hearts team. StMirren heading for relegation troubles.
-
I’m not convinced. You know what they are like. They’ll have the biscuit tin open and they will be thinking up of some deal to get shot of him permanently. They could probably get a few hundred grand for him and his £10k pw off their books. i think they’ll do the proper dirty on the lad.
-
I suspect he’ll be back with us next week. Fingers crossed.

Kettlewell is incapable of change and still believes in his own hype. The bigger idiots than Kettlewell himself are the ones who keep giving him a job after his disastrous Motherwell tenure and subsequent meltdown.
-
Kettlewell genuinely believes in the tactics that surrender possession. He thinks his teams can give possession to opposition in areas that don't hurt them allowing them to make it difficult in areas that can hurt them. He did it with us, he did it with Killie and will do it with RC. The penny still hadn't dropped with him that if you give the opposition endless possession their opportunities are likely to be better than his team.
-
Apparently Kettlewell was screaming at Scott at last nights game. A player low on confidence aint responding to that behavour. Obviously Kettlewell has learnt nothing. Total clown.

We still need proper cover at left back.
