And his shooting was still poor to middling. At his best, he was a 4 league goals a season kind of player, and he's scored 3 league goals for Luton in 2022 (3 in 4 weeks in fact). numpty 460 Report post Posted February 11 Currently watching Glentoran v Linfield on BBC NI. As well as all Manzinga, Bigi, Jake Hastie and Ben Hall in the squads (no place for Mich'el Parker tonight), Ian Baraclough is on co-comms, and Craggs is reporting from pitch side. weeyin 4,182 Report post Posted February 13 I see Craig Samson has registered as a keeper for Aberdeen on an emergency short-term basis and is also helping out as a coach. Another ex-keeper, Gordon Marshall, is their regular coach and out of action due to surgery.
GazzyB 1,337 Report post Posted February 13 I keep an eye on Morecambe results via Twitter. A little bit of discontent growing among their fans after they scraped a draw today vs fellow strugglers Gillingham. Hopefully Robbo can save them from relegation but they seem to be tired of the same issues in their squad and the same post match interview over and over again. Does not matter what team it is or who the manager is if they are on a bad run you get the same media interviews, we need to work hard, get back to basics, proud of my players etc they must all learn it on their UEFA Pro license courses

Kris-A-Goalda 28 Report post Posted February 14 With the exceptions of Turnbull and Watt (so far anyway), who was the last player to leave us for a rival SPFL team that has made a lasting impact for their club or bettered themselves? You look at St Mirren with Tait and Dunne, plus Main and Erwin via other clubs, and you'd be hard pushed to say any of them are making the Buddies better. Main's time at Aberdeen was far less impactful than his time with us. Going by Wikipedia, he scored more for The Well than Dons and St Mirren combined so far. Would you need to go as far back as McDonald going to Celtic?

Would you need to go as far back as McDonald going to Celtic? thats a brilliant question, not many have left in their prime and stayed north of the boarder - most have headed back down South. Perhaps Cadden who's taken an indirect route .
MJC_mkII 201 Report post Posted February 14 Remember Steven Craig leaving us for Aberdeen and him saying that he would be able to pull more birds in Magaluf or somewhere because Aberdeen were much better known than Motherwell were? I don’t know how he got on in Magaluf but he did very little with Aberdeen!

Kat 143 Report post Posted February 15 Derek Adams sacked as manager of Bradford City. He had done well getting Morecambe promoted last season from League Two, perhaps surprising he stayed in the same league to take the Bradford gig but he probably felt he could have achieved more at Valley Parade. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk Shite, they changed tactics at HT and opted to play Broon in defence instead. He however went off injured later in the game.

GazzyB 1,337 Report post Posted February 17 McPake beat Hearts at Tynecastle and took them into the quarters of the Scottish Cup, only to be sacked. Dundee were clearly behind his back looking for a new manager. Despicable behaviour, hope they go down for a while.
