  1. Lets forget about injuries , manager ,tactics etc etc and get right behind the team and try and help them out today .We are all well fans with different views but let’s be as one today . Need a big response so let’s forget the negativity for a few hours at least and hopefully we can all celebrate at the end of the game . Then over the next few weeks we can hopefully get the team freshened up . COYW

  4. Great result with a much depleted squad. Dundee and St Mirren lose and we beat our local rivals to go seven points clear. Could we look back on this day when the dust settles on the season as the day we secured our top division status for another season. Too early to know but a huge step in the right direction. COYW!

  5. Dundee are releasing players left, right and centre so they are obviously going to strengthen during the break. St. Mirren will do also, as a lot of the Stubbs duds drift away. So the Dundee and St. Mirren teams could be radically different on the other side of the break. Will also be worth looking at our performance against Ross County in the Scottish Cup, as it looks like its going to be 2 from 3 in the Championship of which they are one of the challengers. A win today keeps Robinson safe for another 3 or 4 week spell of fixtures but if we lose the pressure is going to be on again. We started with 1 win in 8, form improved a bit with 3 wins but since then we are 1 win in 7 so if we fail to win today we've ended the first half of the season in as appalling form as we started it and Robinson can't really point to any improvement. The lack of goals or even goal scoring chances created lately against fairly modest teams is worrying.

  6. On the ‘smart’ agent point... Whilst, I think it’s incredibly naive to suggest coin is the main factor. Modern players look to develop too if the focus is there. Turnbull has that in abundance. Fanciful notion and a tug on the heartstrings of many “play first team for another year to develop”. Crock of shit. Scottish football is fucking chronic & development is an afterthought to survival. Even at the big two. Flourish at Under 23’s, better facilities, coaching - it’s a different world. More power to him seeing that

  7. Our injury list is horrendous but we still need to find a way to get even a point today. Defeat is unthinkable and 4 points from 24 in December absolutely pathetic. I reckon it’ll be 1-0 Accies and some folk will continue to maintain it’s not that bad as we sleepwalk our way towards relegation.

  8. All is clearly not as well as it might be. Of that you'll get few who'll disagree. But your almost daily attempt at a squeezing in a "Robinson must go“ inference is about as painstakingly dull as half the games we've watched this season.

  9. Quote from Aldred. If the manager and physios are letting players play with concussions then they should all be shown the door.

  10. Ok I am not even going to think about the managerial situation anymore. While not in 8th position he does have us 9 points ahead of 11th spot. Now that may be due as much to St Mirren and Dundee as it is to Robinson but for me, that gap means he stays till he end of the season. Lets hope he can improve the quality of the squad and the way we play the second half of the season.

  11. That's pretty much exactly what I expect from a calendar.

  12. Who knows what’s driving this McCormack move but presumably the deal is just about done for us to go public and therefore not risk alerting the likes of Aberdeen and Killie to Ross’ availability. Hopefully it’s all signed and sealed as a trip to NDP isn’t exactly the easiest way to sell a return to Scottish football.

  18. That quote from Aldred is disgusting! And if I was in charge of the club, both the Manager and Physio would be sacked on the spot. I am still shocked there is no HIA in football considering the amount of head knocks, and the Men in charge have a duty of care for their employees. Fuck the result, if a guy is concussed he doesnt go back on the pitch, even if it means going down to 10 men. Unfortunately Its going to take a dead body or a career ending serious injury to change out prehistoric attitudes toward this issue

  19. Just spoken to someone who works at the club. There could be some substance to the McCormack rumour after all

  21. Sammon, I don't mind. Why bring (rush?) Hartley back from injury on that pitch? On this season's form, Maguire or Tait would do no worse anyway...

  22. Perhaps. But I think I'd still trust the judgement of the medical professionals we pay to make that call over Tom Aldred's opinion.

  23. If Sammon starts then I hope we all get behind him unlike the ridiculous booing when he came on against St Mirren....I am not a Frear fan but I would never boo him...COYW
