  1. Serious question, could you put together a post explaining the reasons you feel he is out of his depth? If you can, can you avoid mentioning personal opinion on things like his background and his history, as these are things you've no idea about. I'm not trying to be facetious or pick an argument, i'm genuinely trying to understand why someone who people in high positions at other clubs have openly expressed the high regard in which they view him, who various members of Scottish media in all formats have voiced respect for, and who has recently been voted onto the board of directors of the SPFL, would be seen by one of his own clubs fans as seeing out of their depth? I genuinely can't get my head around it.

  3. Sorry mate but a don’t quite understand your point here, but what has flow ever done wrong to suggest he’s not worthy of being in charge. He’s been key in bringing in a lot more money to the club aswell as keeping to a tight budget. He interacts extremely well with fans and always puts the club first and also very well respected in Scottish football.

  4. Dundee is Robinson's lucky team. Out of our 8 league wins this season David Turnbull has scored in 5, scored the opener in 4 and scored the winner in 3. Colossal contribution and didn't even start a game until October.

  5. Great 3pts that should have us looking up for the remainder of the season, rather than down. A couple of weeks ago Hibs and Livi looked out of sight, but the former are in meltdown just now with the Lennon situation, and the latter have levelled off a bit now after their early season run. Would love to see us chase them down to give a bit of interest, after the whole season looking a dead rubber following the Scottish Cup exit last week. Not a pretty 3pts, but a massive 3pts in terms of safety. The job is almost done, get it over the line in the next couple of games then I would be delighted to see some of our youngsters get decent game time in the remaining fixtures.

  6. Vital result and keeps Robinson in and us watching shite for rest of the season. As long as we stay up we can wave him cheerio in May. I know Alan Burrows is a good guy/Motherwell to the core etc but a new chief exec would be nice too. Preferably someone who isn't out of his depth. Thank feck for Dundee. Virtually guaranteed a win against them. As soon as we get safe we can write this season off.

  7. Dundee pressed us the whole game, and really should have had more than a shot on target, but that is why they are shite. Frear coming on gave us that little extra width and opened it up enough for us to make our one chance of the game, and we took it. Main’s excellent trap and attempted lob from the edge of the box, followed closely by his long ranger for a throw in summed up his game, but I’d rather he tried these things than totally hide. Can’t really fault his work rate right now. Ariyibi never got into the game, nothing worked for him at all, but that’s the life of a winger, good thing we have a spare one. not sure what the deal was with our defense, but we looked shaky all game. The Dundee fans and commentators are the whiniest of all. Everything was a foul and a yellow, and apparently they had a bunch of penalty shouts. One of their shite strikers was throwing himself around all game, and collum wasn’t buying it, but their fans were all over that. At one point they accused Gillespie of time wasting for going down after being punted in the knackers. They seem to feed off the dourness of Paul mcgowans face. His hair is just a travesty.

  12. Internet Protocol TV subscription. Basically, the modern equivalent of buying a dodgy box down the pub to watch your premium tv channels. Most come with access to the club TV channels.

  13. It was a lot easier to persuade the kids to take an interest when there were Kia Ora and Chipmunk Crisps available (and Macaroon Bars being sold by the man with the tray.)

  15. That maybe . But he grabbed his chance with both hands. The manager would need to be very brave / mental to put Frear back in over Hastie now. I agree that Frear probably isnt surplus yet though, as Ariybi is only on loan.

  16. Yeah, watching the game on Wednesday night on a dodgy stream got my juices flowing again. An absolutely sensational goal set up by Hastie and finished by Turnbull. Love a first time finish, shows he has superb confidence in his ability. My enthusiasm is so great for today’s game that I’m going on my own. My old man passed away a few years back when he was just shy of 60 and my boys, who are 6 & 8 show no interest in watching football so far. Still love going to games though and you can always manage to strike up a conversation with a fellow dosser.

  17. And then onto Livingston at home! Maybe putting a wee run together? Sorry, I should know better.
