Seeing the behaviour of Celtic over the past week it's like a tinder date gone wrong. They both get home after the date that went OK but nothing special. Celtic texts Turnbull, "So how do you think it went? Do we see each other again?" Turnbull replies "Look I had a nice time but I'd prefer just to be friends" "Eh? ....... How come?, was it something I said or did?" Celtic's mum gets involved by texting"Hey, Celtic's lovely, just often misunderstood, I'm sure you'd be a great addition to the family" "Why is your mum getting involved? Jeez ..... Well if you do ask, you went on a bit too much about your ex from Govan and Ireland for my liking" "Arsehole, hope you meet a munter" "Well actually, its a wee hottie from the East of England that's far more attractive, all my friends say they seem lovely, thanks all the same" Celtic then rant via Facebook newsfeed "Went out on a date last night with an ungrateful bastard. First home game against Celtic we put their fans in the newly renamed David Turnbull South Stand.

Can't beat a white kit on a damp November evening under the floodlights. Bovril in hand. Jerseys for goalposts. Two at the back, three in the middle, four up front, one's gone home for his tea. Beans on toast? Marvellous.

The only way this could go even better is if Norwich were to let him play for us for a while..... and he bangs a few in past celtic during that time of course.

I've always been a fan of the white away kits - or change kits as they were when I first saw them thanks to our rules that made the home team change. I wonder if they'll make a version as a regular polo shirt/golf shirt kind of thing (without the sponsor logo).

You know what would a great idea? Tag him directly in a post on Facebook which is criticising Celtic... The abuse he's getting elsewhere can't be enough I guess. Fuck sake. Delighted he's knocked back Celtic, he's clearly got a brain in his head unlike his pal...

I liked the look of Gorrin last season, thought he was excellent any time I saw him, and Cadden has been a great servant to the club, both will be missed imho.

Definetly, the fact that all their followers cant believe that anyone would knock back the Selik makes the whole thing even funnier for me.

I've always preferred Ipswich to Norwich if I'm honest, but this would be the ideal fit for young Turnbull on the surface of it. A forward-thinking, exciting manager in Daniel Farke, a few Scottish lads in the squad already, and the chance to play in the Premiership for a club who aren't really expected to do much. When you look at their current squad you have to believe that he could get some serious game time under his belt as well, if they decide to keep him and not loan him out.

Why would bid be more if club accepted bid already? Think maybe club could have got more as its so early in widow. All the best David. Hope you got a magnificent offer and we all move on.

I am pleased that Norwich exceeded Celtic’s bid and, if David agrees terms with them it puts him in a better position to move on to a bigger EPL club given the coverage they get. Better development through playing better teams than Celtic ever will, better chance of a bigger move and thereby a bigger sell on cut for us and (maybe importantly) a metaphorical punch on the nose to Celtic who systematically have bullied other Scottish teams in so many ways and arrogantly tried to use a supine and submissive Scottish media to twist David’s arm when clearly Celtic , A’s is their won’t, failed to show enough respect to Motherwell and in particular a young man with a very big future that most football minded (but not Celtic minded) people could easily recognise.

Got us £3.2 million minimum AND tells Selik to fek off ya cheapskate barstewards. Then gets them to put out a magnificently embarassing statement and their team captain begs him to sign . The answer is still no thanks . Three statues at least and a named stand please.

if true our club owes a huge debt to David Turnbull he signed a 3 year contract when he didn't need to but basically to ensure the club was taken care of

If deal with Sellik is finished it is a disaster as it might actually mean we are stuck with him for another 6 months!!!!!.
