  1. Quite like Crawford, he keeps the ball well. He's not the most physical but certainly nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be. In the first half of the Ross County game he was the only midfielder to make any sort of decent pass on the deck into the box. Twice.

  2. It makes sense though on the back of wee Billy staying at Chelsea.

  5. I like Dunne because he would deliberately set up opportunities to race people, and he reminds me of happier times.

  6. Happy with odonnell signing till end of season. Would have left us struggling at right back

  7. I despair of this place. Underwhelming signing perhaps but because it didn't work out at Hearts doesn't mean it won't work out here. John Sutton was poor at Hearts, worked out fine here. We were told that Jake Carroll was dreadful when he signed, he's done a good job. Not saying he'll be a world beater, but at least give the guy a chance...

  8. I hope what I've just heard is a fucking joke..... Edit - It was........some funny fucker thought it would be a good idea to repost the tweet from Tony Straker signing in 2015.......heart in mouth moment there.....

  9. Absolutely. He gets beaten with the ‘Livi reject’ stick far too often and unnecessarily. Quite pleased he’s signed on permanently, have thought he’s been one of our more competent performers of late.

  12. 2-0 win to take us into a 1-0 win at Celtic Park. Yeah, I'm drinking.

  13. To be fair to Nolan, he's probably struggled to play in the 4th division because that's not the league Crewe are in.

  14. On paper our 2 signings tonight may seem underwhelming but some folks need to calm down and give them a chance. The time to judge will be in a few months time My only concern is Roberts' injury record but presumably our management has checked this. Most of our transfer window signings would seem to have been identified before GA arrived - no? What I would say is that the positions we've recruited for are the ones which most of us would have identified a few weeks ago.

  16. nah, let's pre judge these players before they play, that's what they do on here. makes you want the guys to do well , for the club and to shut the eejits on this forum up.

  18. GA when with Salford would know him I think from the Conference League .

  19. Fucking nonsense. Another shite late twenties reserve player and this time from the league below us? Whats more, he is a left winger! We have literally just signed a left winger in Lawless who is 4 times the player this guy is. We have nobody in the squad who can play right wing effectively and sign THIS? Considering the ramifications of us making an arse of this season, this has to be the worst transfer window I can ever remember. Not only that, but its aslap in the face of our support.

  20. We can give players all the backing under the sun grizzly, some just aren't good enough,I would love to be proved wrong but loaning a guy that can't get a game in the division below isn't what we're needing,I would just rather we didn't bother than another wage going out the door.

  21. Out of interest I wonder who recommended him as GA would have never seen him or even heard of him until today, somebody must have recommended him to GA, a very strange signing considering GA said he would not just sign players to make up numbers!!

  22. Robinson's downfall is he padded the team out with mediocrity that on paper flattered. It appears Alexander is following that model by adding to an already bloated squad. I hope to be proven wrong. The only player out so far is White. Which confirms what we all know, too few are attractive to potential suitors. It appears theres a few in that squad who know they'd not realise the wages elsewhere or have a desire to play regularly so willing to ride out their contracts.

  24. Why, 21 years old , only 24 appearances for some Dutch lower league team, none for any other club he has been at, and has never scored a senior goal for club or Country. Aye thats the kind of experience we need in the middle of a relegation fight.

  25. Not me mate. I've edited the post now. Someone messaged me and someone phoned me at precisely the same time to tell me we'd signed Tony Straker on loan. Turned out to be some funny fucker retweeting the original tweet from 5 years or so ago.

  26. I don’t know if this is allowed so delete if not. I’d say it’s Motherwell related with how much of a impact mental health has on Motherwell and the surrounding area. I’m trying to run 5k everyday through February to raise funds for Chris House a local mental health charity. Please donate if you can(new signing Sam Foley thought it was a worthy cause) https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ross-andrew2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  27. I disagree, he regularly gives the ball away. Played a proper suicide pass during the County win that better teams would have punished us with. Playing such passes and losing the ball in dangerous areas certainly seems to be his calling card. We're playing him to the detriment of our own youth players who genuinely couldn't be any worse.

  28. Which is really the level you would expect of someone who's probably 5th choice for a 3 man midfield for motherwell.

  30. Agree with this. He's turned in better performances than Campbell recently, as hard as that is to believe. I'm not actually convinced that O'Hara is a major step up from Crawford in the middle of the park either.

  34. Playing a hoorna lot of football for someone who is "5th choice for a 3 man midfield"! Glad to see the club is showing ambition to get us out of the mess we are in, re-signing a Livvy reserve who is very obviously out of his depth and an old man from St Mirren reserves.

  35. I would absolutely love it if Aberdeen sacked McInness and hired Robinson. Quickly realizing they were stuck with his shite instead of the greatest coach in football (in his mind) would be delightful. Seeing the sheep beilin while he goes thro the repertoire, "I take full responsibility, but........" , "Im not going to make excuses, but........." , " I cant fault the players, but......" , "Were a Young squad (with an ave age of 27!)" , "We go again"
