Really poor today but I'm still not prepared to hit the panic button just yet3 points

I think Alexander showed last season that he knows what he is doing. We should have scored today and scored more last week plus we actually scored an equaliser so it's better than under Robinson. The issue at the moment is too many players not up to the required standard. We can't keep on pretending that Maguire is a midfielder or that Watt is a reliable forward. We can't let Donnelly try and play his way back to form. Lawless is done and Lamie isn't good enough to start. If we don't sign better players then Alexander won't last the season but questions will also need to be asked about Burrows. Posters on here like to pretend that we are paying players a grand a week but the club wage bill is £4.8m a year so there is scope to bring in players good enough for our level but the budget seems to be mismanaged.3 points

Beaten 1-0 off a team that conceded 8 goals in their first two league games. The team we started today are Championship level. Years of shambolic windows continue to cripple us. We need a strong finish to this one. Lamie, Donnelly, Maguire and Lawless shouldn't be anywhere near the team.3 points

I have a bad feeling about Alexander and I suspect he won’t be our manager before the 2021-22 season comes to a close. There is an Ian Baraclough/Jim Gannon vibe about him that doesn’t inspire me with any confidence in his decision making. I hope he proves me wrong, but there is something that tells me he’s not the right fit for us.2 points

You don't win games wae Donnelly ,McGuire , Lawless , Lamie in your team we need at least another 4 players in or it will a long season2 points

We need two new midfielders, a left sided centre back and another forward. We seem to start the season a month after everyone else these days.2 points

Crowds have not been impacted by any leagues in europe through television coverage (if you accept that they have then you accept that you have tapped every single possible consumer which is either foolish or a bit nihilistic) - hence why it is available in all countries other than the UK. Similar sized nations to scotland and others. Someone may fact check me on the other, but keep in mind that Scotland is one of only two nations in the world who's national team matches are behind a paywall - it's little wonder that it's more common to see kids in real madrid or barcelona kits than motherwell or united - neither national nor the national league is something that is highly exposed to the population. Take the example of the herald newspaper - they didnt improve their physical product (as others in media did ) and stuck their digital content behind a paywall. It's now a relative fossil in the media - the reality is that push marketing is essential to gain customer headspace in 2021; closed loops are a thing of the past. For sure, crowds have lessened over the past 50 years however this is largely due to seating stadia and increased pricing rather than TV options. Also true regarding booze however my point was that we are reverting to type rather than improving and finding ways to engage supporters both in stadia and digitally. Increasing matchday experience to ensure people want to be there whilst also ensuring that the casual fan engages via the medium of tv - as is the case everywhere else. I'm not blaming the club but I'm blaming Scottish football at large. It has reverted to type and will die of it's own naval gazing if there isn't massive shake up. Anyway... mon the well.2 points

Been a pretty tame game so far. Dundee have had some dangerous balls across the box to no one, and about 50 corners, but we've had the best chance with shields trying to murder the ball and missing from around the penalty spot. We only look dangerous when Lawless and Slattery are on the ball, as they aren't just punting it every time they have it. It feels like we're not setting ourselves up to take advantage of woolery's pace and being able to body everyone. Ojala has been fine, and it's nice to see grimshaw again, hopefully he does a line to line horizontal dribble for old times sake.2 points

I think it’s midfield and defence. Kelly is a very decent goalkeeper and I think we’re only short of a centre half. Midfield however is extremely weak and that’s putting a lot of pressure on the back line. I’m baffled why Crawford was given an extension and McGuire still has a way to go, we’re two decent midfielders short.1 point

In fairness to the fans and the bois in particular, all I saw whilst there was the fans getting right behind the team. No missiles, no piros, just singing from beginning to end. I'd rather the stewards dealt with the drunk/high/both- weapon that was behind me who did nothing but curse and swear at our players all game. We don't need 'fans' like that and I use the term fan very lightly.1 point

Seen a few from Dundee fans saying some of our fans goading/fighting with “old men just trying to get home” after the game and a good few calling our fans ‘scumbags’ etc but at the same time a few Motherwell fans posting that it was the stewards/police who escalated the situation. Always two sides to every story of course. I wasn’t there myself so couldn’t say either way.1 point

Because we’re watching Maguire and Donnelly playing in there week in week out and there just not good enough !!!! Dont know where all this Donnelly is a midfielde comes from … … … like Jake Hastie he had a 6 game purple patch in there and score about 6 goals ( half of the penalties) They are both defenders not midfielders and they play like defenders neither of them have the nous to play in that position ……… certainly not both of the in the same team we might get away with one of them in there but not both of them.1 point

Do you guys think this guy is the answer? A guy we let go and has played a handful of league one games at best? I know he was thought of as being talented but I don't understand why this guy is flavour of the month on here just now.1 point

If this guy was a thorn in the side of Alexander when his teams played against him then either the standard of Alexanders teams were crap or he could not figure out how to stop him either scenario does not bode well for us1 point

Don't forget wee Robbo jnr. Newell getting an extension but the club not announcing because he was so shite is probably the pinnacle of this. He's playing in the 6th tier of English football now so he might be back on our radar if he can match the 2 goals Amalozur scored last season.1 point

We sign at least one of those every single fucking year! You think of Newell, Fisher, Plummer, Sammon, McCormack, Sloth, Ilic, Seedorf, White, McGinley, Parker and much more who have come and gone, some even completely unnoticed over the past three or four years. For a club that's never done banging on about limited and meagre budgets we don't half spunk it on utter dross constantly and some of whom don't even get near the first team. It's mental!1 point

On the face of it,I don't have to many problems with the signings that we have made so far,the problem lies in how we're going about things,it's clear to everybody that the system doesn't suit.there is absolutely no link up or cohesion in this team, the defence are on there own to deal with it,the midfield offers nothing defensively or in an attacking sense and that forward line today wouldn't be out of place in the league below playing like that.1 point

Given we have no craft in midfield coupled with the fact he's not out an out and out scorer it's strikingly obvious he should play in the old number 10 position .1 point

You are joking I assume, they barely speak English. " he's a colosus and he's made himself big" eh? If he's a colosus he's big already and if anything he'd make himself bigger.1 point

Think it's called Ripcord. Run by some boys back there. Someone over here in Toronto had told me about it, as they have all the SPFL teams. I just had to message one of the guys on Telegram for setup. (60quid a year)1 point

Not exactly the clubs fault but it's absolutely crazy that with only 1000 well fans permitted entry that there is 0 TV coverage. Completely backwards thinking from those in Scottish football. We had a chance to emulate the German model with full coverage and fans in stadiums - maximising the abundance of Scottish football in our society and encouraging more kids into our own game than those drifting to the English premier league or others, yet we reverted to old ways of thinking once again. It may not be his best position but he'd be far better than Donnelly was last weekend. I like Donnelly but he is miles off it right now. It would also give us a bit more quality with Lawless in between their defence and midfield, something we badly lacked last week. And it would also piss off O'Neills40yarder.1 point

Did you just find out he comes from a Rangers family? He's talked about that for years. Do we drop all players that go and watch other teams, or just him? And ban ex-players that come back to watch a game at Fir Park? And not sign anyone that played for the OF?1 point

I think I would be happy with that. Would also like to see Ojala getting a start. Lawless probably deserves a start after his positive impact last week in Perth. Could provide the link between the midfield & attack we’ve been lacking. Kelly Sod Mugabi Ojala Carroll Maguire Slattery Woolery Lawless Watt Van Veen I’ll take a 1-0 win and hope for a winnable home tie in the next round.1 point
