We just look so physical up front and along the backline going to hussle and muscle alot of teams off the ball. This could turn out to be one of the best transfer windows in a long long while i really like what we are building here and with most of them on long term contracts its all clicking into place.2 points

I’ve been looking forward to this game for a fortnight and it didn’t disappoint. I know Alexander isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I really like the team he is building, a team that is full of character, commitment and nous. Keep our key players fit and we could be in for an enjoyable season.2 points

Ojala and Johansen were immense. Kelly behind the two of them is going to result in a lot of clean sheets. Big Bevis was brilliant at right back, the number of challenges he won in the last 15 summed up the team. Solid in defence and match winners up front is a winning combination. For all the moaning about GA Fir Park was bouncing 5 minutes after full time today and we still have players to come in and easy improvements to make.2 points

First half McGinley was constantly dealing with 2 or 3 Aberdeen players but looks like they sorted that for the second half2 points

I prefer it to Robinson going for an Oscar every time he saw a camera.2 points

There really isn't much to add to what others have said. This was probably the best performance of the season so far. We do seem to take time to get up to speed in a match, but after the initial 20mins today we started to get a grip of the game which culminated in a superb goal. The second half was very much Motherwell being willing to give up territory while being dangerous in the counter. When the second came it looked like it could be more. However, Alexander isn't about to chase goals. He chose to protect what we had and Motherwell comfortably saw out the remainder of the game. There were no failures on the pitch for Motherwell today. Special mention to Mugabi who is really starting to get to grips with the right back position, Solholm was absolutely solid, excellent considering this was his debut. Up front Van Veen, Watt and Woolery terrorised the Aberdeen back line any time that they got good possession in the mid to final third. Let's hope that is the level of performance that we have to look forward to this season. One final point, the atmosphere at Fir Park these days is electric. Let's keep it up through thick and thin.1 point

Somebody could hand you a million pounds and you'd complain about the colour of the briefcase it came in.1 point

Great performance from pretty much everyone today, and for all Aberdeen's possession, I was never too worried at any point. KVV was excellent but the back three were outstanding and Kelly dealt with anything that got past them with ease. A special mention for John Beaton, how he managed to ignore that Brown challenge on KVV after some of the fouls he awarded against us takes a level of incompetence which even Collum can't achieve.1 point

Careful now you're stealing my thunder and might get lambasted for it.1 point

Lots more positives than negatives again. Those handsome Scandinavians at the back are going to be a terrific combination, maybe as good as we’ve had for some time, Mugabi had another good game on the right and that’s as good as I’ve seen Woolery. Van Veen and Watt continue to look a quality combination. Workrate from everyone was too notch and we won’t be getting bullied out of game too often although I can see the bookings and sending offs building up at an alarming rate. Slattery really is one nuisance of an individual. Still think there is work to be done in midfield, ( Sorry I don’t see Grimmy as a long term option, his attitude and work-rate are fantastic but he’s very limited technically.) What really is starting to impress me though is the composure, everyone seems to know their job and for all the Aberdeen possession and Kelly saves I never really felt that worried, we really are starting to look like a well drilled team that’s not going to give away that many goals.1 point

Kelly, Johansen, Ojala, Slattery, Van Veen seem like they can stand up to the Old Firm. Hopefully we have signed players who want to make an impression in the hardest games rather than get them out the way.1 point

The atmosphere at the three home league matches has been absolutely brilliant. Long may it continue.1 point

Spot on. I was a bit surprised when Woolery went off today. He’s excellent in the air for a winger, and provides a good out ball option if we’re defending. The fact that he is so good in the air probably stops teams from pushing too far forward against us1 point

One word to sum that up? Fun. Seems a lot of personality in the team. Highlights include Watt rubbing Brown's head after being booked, Mugabi's mad last minute run and their left back looking terrified any time Woolery went anywhere near him...1 point

Van Veen plays with his heart on his sleeve and that's great but he's got to calm down. Not a great performance but we're up against a decent Aberdeen side here, so extremely happy with the scoreline.1 point

Can't get it via a VPN because my ISP runs through England but I've set my iPhone to a personal hotspot and connected via that and got it no bother. Fuck you UEFA, I win.1 point

I think this could go in any direction. We certainly go into this with choices in attack, midfield, and defence. We could see a first 11 with over half the players being summer signings which is quite exciting, the two Scandinavians, Van Veen, Roberts, Slattery, Woolery, Goss all look in with a shout which would only leave 3 outfield players from last season, quite a turnaround. For me a game that should give an indication of just how the season may pan out. I like Carroll but still think McGinley has something about him if given a run in a settled team and O’Donnell is solid enough. Watt needs to start every game regardless and I’d like to see Donnelly given a run in the team although OHara is not without his merits.1 point

PPV not available down here in London, due to Article 48 of UEFA Statutes (in other words the blackout from 2.45pm to 5pm). Not the club's fault, but I can't watch my team play on stream because they would rather me go to Watford vs Brighton instead? Get to utter utter fuck UEFA.0 points
