This is just such a shit argument. There is not a Motherwell fan anywhere who wouldnt take winning a cup over playing in in Europe. For one, winning the Scottish Cup you qualify for Europe anyway. And the way things are goung we are getting to the stage with the co-efficient, the League Cup might be back in with a shout. Its not an either / or. But in the absence of winning a cup (we have done it once in my lifetime and Im 53) then the next best thing is qualifying for Europe and the chance to dream about giving a big name a bloody nose and the potential for a nice away trip. Can we bin this thread. Its just stupid.

I find folk that follow Motherwell that would rather we didn't compete in Europe baffling. Surely you want to test yourself against anyone regardless of calibre? I find the more obscure the team the more fun tbh. Obviously a trip to the Nou Camp or San Siro would be fantastic but we need to at least try and beat the teams before that becomes a possibility. This negative attitude towards our team based on past efforts helps nobody but I guess some people just love to moan.

Why would you think you should get a refund for a season ticket game? I can't stand either side of the old firm,I've always found them to have some weird obsession with us over the years,I take great pleasure in them hating us.as for moving the rangers game,we should tell them to fuck off then take points off them and ending any slim chance they have of the title and kick them off the park in the process just before there european game.both sides have sucked the life out of the game here since the beginning of time,they should be getting no favours when it's needed.

Las was fantastic for us over a long, long period. I'd even go as far as saying that the decision to steal him from under Kilmarnock's noses for his 2nd spell was a historically important one for the club.
