  1. A 3-0 win against a team that never looked like troubling us with 11 men never mind 10, 3 teenagers on the Park and playing well, winning the group and seeded for the last 16 draw a very comfortable win. And yet the Trolls and their apprentices are still feckin moaning 🤦‍♂️i really despair at some of our support, that only seem to get enjoyment from defeats and bad performances, what a feckin sad life.

  3. I would go for two forwards minimum.Obika I got a feeling he is going to be in and out the team with niggles all season seems to pick up knocks pretty easily. Wilkinson I will judge soon as January transfer window rolls around but good to see him score hope it pushes him on. Good to see young Miller get a goal but for me so far Slattery seems to have a spring in his step what I have seen of him so far he looks really good going into the start of the league games well impressed with him.

  5. We've exhausetd slagging of the ones who have signed. We're moving on to rumours now and next week, it'll be ones we're not even linked with.

  6. No, but waiting until he's signed would waste valuable pants wetting time.

  7. I believe the club streams the BBC, BT Sport(TNT) or Sky live feed being sent back to the studio. If Viaplay doesn't have a live feed at Fir Park then we're out of luck.

  8. I didn't think we did much wrong today. We beat what was in front of us quite comfortably. I've seen us play a hell of a lot worse.

  9. Big Wilkinson is doing a good of making signing the St Johnstone dud a no bad idea. He's hopeless. He doesn't make any runs but is still somehow constantly offside.

  10. Pleased to see Wilkinson get a goal hopefully a boost for his confidence, especially after a tough couple of years with injury must have affected him Great to see Miller score again and get more good game time

  11. Kelty won the shootout so we sneaked in despite our pish performance.

  12. I suppose you could take that view more broadly and say there is little point in worrying about what happens on a football pitch as that is also outside of your control

  13. 0-4 now must have got rid of defenders as well

  16. Just as well it's not in front of a big crowd on live TV in a meaningful game against a club desperate for win fielding an ex-player coming back to haunt us.

  19. Miller with a nice finish. Slattery has been class again today, hopefully he can take this form into the league season.

  20. Brutal so far. Wilkinson makes Connor Sammon look a player.

  21. Got it on the dodgy box, found it under the "scottish championship" category, the actual stream had no name, if that's any use.

  22. I had my internet upgraded this week from a dodgy, slow, cuts-out-15-times-a-day connection to a 2GB fibre connection. Really looking forward to... checks notes .... the low bit rate audio stream.

  23. We had a guy from the Juniors on trial and I think most people would have been fine if we signed him to be around the squad. If we signed him to be a starter then it's a different story. The issue here is that we have seen what Obika offers and it's substandard and Wilkinson has offered nothing so far. If these are our starters it's fair to say we are in bother The boy from Arsenal is the kind of gamble we should be looking for but the guy from St Johnstone is basically saying we have given up trying to bring in anyone decent. Last season we played Partick in a friendly with Morris, Efford and Shields up front. People that actually know a bit about football immediately saw that this was a disaster in the making and it obviously turned out that way because they managed zero goals between the three of them. I've seen people on here defending Jacob Blyth and Sherwin Seedorf despite the fact that it's not just that they weren't good enough for us but weren't even Scottish League Two standard.

  26. I don't think he was honest about his height either! As I remember he was always listed as 5' 8. Don't think so!

  28. Ojamaa was 20 when he signed with us. Bair is going to be 24 in a month. He is well beyond the development part of his career. At this point he is who he is. And it isn't good enough to be playing for anyone in the Premiership. Signing him is throwing money down the drain. Filling out the squad with guys who aren't up to the standard has been a problem at Fir Park for years.

  30. They showed last weeks game to international subscribers, but it's audio only for us tomorrow too. Elgin also broadcast our game there on ppv, so I'm guessing the issue is technical rather than legal.

  32. You say that he should have "completed his apprenticeship with us" then moved on, as if it's a given that a club like Leeds would come calling again a few years later? As I said previously, that's not how professional football works. It's not a three or four step program. What if he'd stayed with us and not made the grade? Or run into a similar issue as the one he faced when here on loan? A manager who didn't fancy him and a team that was shit? We've happily cut loose players like Corey O’Donnell, Daniel Hunter, Kian Speirs and Logan Dunachie without a second thought. What's to say McKinstry wouldn't have ended up suffering a similar fate? Nah, when a club like Leeds come calling, you make the move. Any "apprenticeship" he could complete playing in a Motherwell team in the SPFL is no better than working with coaches like Marcelo Bielsa and training alongside the kind of players Leeds had, in the facilities that Leeds train at. Football is a short career. You make the money when you can, because once it's all over and done with, it's the money that will be paying your mortgage or setting you up for the next stage of your life.

  34. That’s positive news . Slattery is a decent player and I often thought he looked a touch overweight /not fully fit by modern standards hoping he can continue what’s been a great start to his pre season

  36. He's taking flak because he slagged off those very same players when we signed them (Higdon being a classic example, but there are many others). He also complains about the level of every player we sign and points out we should be signing much higher quality without ever providing a single example of any player we could have signed that meets those criteria. It's pointless, boring and a pretty tired trope for every player we sign to be labelled as useless before they even turn up at Fir Park. "It's all about opinions" is why climate change deniers still get air time on TV and some people in the US still think Trump is president. Sometimes wrong is just wrong and trolling is just trolling.
