If you read this forum, our support must contain some of the worst supporters in the country 😁 If you used the info found here, Motherwell would lose 3-0 every week, they'd get relegated every year and no other team ever loses or draws after going one up. After a 15 game winless run, winning at home against your closest opponent and drawing away with a team above you isn't bad. The fact that we werent rock bottom after that run shows that outside Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, everyone is mediocre. The run during Alexander showed the same thing. You'd actually think the other 11 teams in the league won every week judging by some of the pish talked on here. Sure, it's gutting to lose a lead so close to the end, but how many folk of here were thinking 'game over' after they scored the opener. Get a fucking grip and enjoy the fact that we're not in a worse postion than we are, we have a window to get rid of and bring in a couple of players and we have a 4 game run of real winables to come.7 points

Would have taken a point before the game and it was probably the correct result over the piece, but it does feel like a boot in the baws in the circumstances. Injuries and suspensions continue to limit our options (and our chances) but the manager and the players continue to find ways to grind out results. Thats a good trait to have and the players are 100% still with the manager. Didnt fancy the line up when I saw Spittal at RWB and I think Hibs took advantage of that for the first 30 mins. But it was actually the manager switching Biereth back into the middle and Bair wide that seemed to change our fortunes. Immediately our press worked better and the shape of the team gave more natural protection to Spittal who was getting roasted. Great goal again from Theo and for the remainder of the game I thought we were far more competitive. Obviously we tired towards the end and the inevitible happened. I suppose the manager could have thrown some of the youngsters on, or even Nathan McGinley, but the ones shouting for that would be the very ones calling for the managers head had those changes resulted in the same loss of 2 points or even all 3! The amount of reactionary nonsense on here never ceases to amaze. We have now only lost 2 of our last 8 games and one of those defeats was to Rangers. We are well in the pack going into the break with a chance to get some players back fit and bolster the weak areas of our squad. Yes we have our deficiencies and the manager makes his mistakes. But the players are still with him. Maybe some of our supporters should be too!4 points

He was some player that KVV, kept a number of clean sheets, defended really well under pressure and not only scored, but created all his own chances.4 points

in his 39 games Won 16. (41%) lost 12 (31%) Drawn 11 (28%) SH lost 57% of games GA lost 41% of games SR lost 40% of games. Appreciate the run of winning games isn't great but it's on par with other managers and our lost record is sigiificantly better. On paper it's hard to argue/debate why he should be sacked .3 points

When Alexander came in I was so surprised we managed to attract a manager with a pretty decent track record and who also had a credibility as a player to boot. As it turned out his stubbornness/lack of imagination led to his downfall. Contarary to GA, SK has shown a willingness to adapt, learn from his mistakes, and, just as importantly, seems to have the backing of his squad of players. I for one not only celebrated the Livi victory for what it is but am glad it gives SK the opportunity to (try and) address deficiencies in the squad and drag us further up the table. There are plenty of comments about wanting to give our own youth/academy players a chance and opportunity. I’d say the same about giving SK a chance to develop and grow with us.3 points

If Dan the Man had made that mistake would SK have made same reaction? I doubt it. Gent still raw and learning but is improving all the time and always looking to get crosses in2 points

Replacing KVVs goals hasnt been our problem. Keeping them out has. So your logic is poor.2 points

That's a decent point to a team above us in the league, albeit a sore one losing a goal late on. Hibs could have been out of sight after going 1-0 up - the team showed great determination to get it to 2-1. I think the fact the opposition had a rest at the weekend should be taken into account re. late goal with tiredness setting in. Huge deflection on the equaliser too, was a tad unfortunate although could have cleared the first cross better. Hopefully 1 or 2 signings in January window and offloading a couple of the fringe players will see us heading into the 2nd half of the season more optimistic than the last wee while.2 points

Yeh its never nice to lose a game right at the end but we are actually scoring goals now and a points a point. Things could definitely be worse 🤷♀️2 points

Wee Davor is out his depth here. Paton is choking to get sent off again. We need new midfielders asap.2 points

I’m not sure why they try To hold the ball on the line. Just hammer it off the defender full pelt for another corner and repeat. Also after they get skelped with the ball the first time they are a bit more hesitant the next time.1 point

Wilkinson is definitely away. Spencer and Shaw strongly rumoured to be leaving.1 point

Agree I thought Gent was one of our better players. Looked like Spittal. The manager said words were said to Gent after the game. Hopefully it was constructive and not destructive.1 point

As bad a run as we’ve been on (and it has been grim) it’s interesting to note we’re only 5 points behind Hibs - a city club with gates four times bigger than us and resources well above us.1 point

Apologies if off topic. But some consolation to know we’re not the only team who lose early goals to you know who. See StMirren.1 point

Disappointing to not hold on for the win, but to only concede 2 goals with that defensive performance was an achievement in itself. I know some of that is down to injuries/suspensions, etc, but we were very shaky. Great that Bair continues to score, sometimes it just takes a purple patch from a striker to get you out of trouble. Then we can sell him to Aberdeen, and he won't score again.1 point

Is that poor game management or are you on your favourite subject again ie letting us all know you don't like Kettlewell? 🤔1 point

This fucking about at corners with 90mins on the clock, take the bloody corner and get it in the box1 point

Always good to get something at Easter Road but by christ that was a brutal watch.1 point

I'll take a draw at Easter Road. 3 weeks ago we'd have lost 32-0 so anything else is a bonus.1 point

Said it before and I’ll say it again, Bevis is a better striker than he is a CB. Well taken big yin!1 point

As potent a striker as Mika is his link up play and assists are proving invaluable to us right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Would you rather start Obika or McGinley in midfield? Butcher just coming back from injury and rest are youngsters. I ain't a Slattery fan but I don't think SK had much choice1 point

Slattery was rotten when he came on against Livi, so I've no idea why Kettlewell thought he was worth a start today. Oh, I do, Kettlewell is a clown.1 point

been comming. Why, why our manager persists in having players out of position is beyond me and will cost us today. We have shown nothing so far other than letting Hibs players run past us at will.1 point

Why can we not just give Kettlewell the credit he deserves for yesterday? We even had the sour grapes "the PLAYERS deserve credit". Clearly a positive for Kettlewell was a step too far for some. Acknowledgement grudgingly given at best. Depressingly I get the sense a few folk even wanted us to lose yesterday, just to justify their assault. I admit I did have doubts when I saw his team selection but he and the players made it work and proved me wrong. Even with Shaw contributing next to nothing, the fact he fielded three forwards created the space that Biereth and Bair took advantage of. That set up was down to Kettlewell and in such a critical game he carried the day. Accept it and hope the upturn in results continues. I don't know if Kettlewell will survive to next season. Nobody does. But to suggest a new Board would not renew his contract under any circumstances is ridiculous. It is quite clear that even if our January signings work out, we have a decent cup run and secure our top league status, Kettlewell's detractors will still shout loudest....until they get to move on to their next target when he eventually goes. We managed an important victory yesterday and head to Easter Road in a more positive mood. I think that is a good thing but sadly it feels like some don't think that way.1 point

He's scored in the first half of the last two games then reverted to cart horse after half time. I don't think it's confidence he just has to be pointing in the right direction when the ball gets to him.0 points
